My next problem:

I use the box at the vBCMS portal.
I have at the shouts format settings 25 for the broad from the box.
But this options doesn't work. I have to many letters at a row and this make my style to broad.
Please have a look on the attached pictures.

Turkish translation is almost completed.

But;
I have some notes:
1) [setting_mgc_cb_annonce_bbcode_desc] is not included in EN xml file.
2) product version is still 1.4 at xml file .
3) After installation help page at the chatbox is not reflecting new functions.
4) when a user disables chatbox from his/her control panel; options for that user disappears and seems like impossible to restore.

If you didn't add the thing to the modifyoptions template then it's a problem of bad install on your part ! You must do that modification as stated in the install instructions however such problem can appear.

This is maybe because of the BBCODE, I think that if you click on the bbcode button, you'll have the bbcode formatting line taking the whole width.

Maybe you should disable some of the chatbox bbcode in order to minimize its size.

1) Hum that's strange, will need to have a look at it.
2) Oh yes due to the little problem I might have made that wrong.
3) Have you activated the corresponding commands (permissions and/or options) for them to appear ?
4) With the 1.5 version ??? It was happening for the 1.3 or 1.2, I don't remeber exactly but it was corrected. Are you sure ?

not the updated ones related with id and name.

bbcode is now disable but the problem is the same. To many letters in one row.
The setup for the box is 25 but you can but a lot of more letters in 1 row.
For me a problem with the input box...

Mmmm i think ive done something wrong here and dont know what it is, ok when i do a shout it keeps loadin, nothing happend plus it takes me to the Archives page, and there is an error at the bottom saying........ line 459 Char 4 error mgc_cb_jsloc' is underfined code 0

I think you haven't reverted the template mgc_show_aide (that you might have modified due to the "Fermer" hardcoded phrase :)

The error is when you're in the chatbox ?

If yes then its because you haven't reverted your mgc_chatbox template :)

This is due to the fact that your long shout doesn't contains any space so the phrase is not cut !

I have the problem that some people cant see the shoutbox at all. Its just not on any of there pages. there not banned, there usergroup settings are fine, reseting the cache hasnt worked either. We had the problem on the previous version and thought upgrading would fix it but it hasnt

As I already said many times, this is because you haven't made the modification to the modifyoptions template ! And this modification is mandatory.

Otherwise, when a user modify its options, the chatbox option won't present and so will be set to 0. (chatbox hidden).

You have to do the modification to that template and then tell your users to go to their option to show the chatbox again.

one of my users is having problems with safari .. chatbox doesn't display any text when viewing with safari3 on mac OS X 10.4.10 .... any ideas ?

How can I make it so that the archive only displays the shouts made in the last 24 hours?

My users are concerned with their privacy and they don't want all their chats stored for several days for everyone to read.

I entered 1 for "Numbers of days of the shouts to remove", but it didn't do anything and the old chats are still in the archive. It mentions that the "automatic task of cleaning of the chatbox" needs to be activated, but I could not find where to activate that either.

Please advise.

Because it doesn't work well. I don't why and I am wondering if this functionnality shall not be removed coz If I do a kind of session table for the chatbox, it would add queries.

This is marked in the 2.0 todo list.

I have developped it on MAC OS X 10.4.10 (but maybe it was safari 2) and it was working like a charm.

Maybe I shall test with safari 3, but when you tell it doesn't display any text, this means no test at all, no loading message ?

You have to go in the cron manager to activate it :)

Becareful, this command has changed, the syntax is not the same as before. You have to look in the chatbox's help to get the new syntax :)

There was a bug in the first zip file for the pencil thing but it is corrected in the actual zip.

I know I asked a lot :)
But can you please check this?

I have an archieve of 15 pages.
And only want to see Team Channel shouts.
When I select show only team shouts, I see that I have 9 pages of team shouts.
when I click to any pages of this team shouts archieve, it shows "ALL shouts" including general again with 15 pages :(.
Therefore seems like impossible to reach 2 nd page of old team shouts from archieve.

I think you haven't uploaded the functions_mgc_cb.php file into your include directory, please check that :)

OK, I finally have it installed where it isn't generating an error on my board, however, I've made all of the file modifications as directed in the installation folder, yet it still doesn't show. Nor can I find an option in my usergroups to turn it on.

It's normally NOT this hard for me to make things work.

You should have many permissions in the usergroup manager especially the Can view chatbox and also the number of posts to see the chatbox which shall be kept lower than your number of post if you want to see it ;).

Are you sure you have followed carefully the how to install ?

To get 1.5 working on vBadvanced CMPS..

You need to delet some code in Variables globales chatbox..

Admincp >> Plugins & Products >> Plugin Manager >> Variables globales chatbox,,

Find and delete this code:

But if you completely delete that, it might mess up with the chatbox on other pages and also if vbadvanced is not in the forum directory it might not work too.

I don't recommand removing that bit of code, maybe there is a problem with but removing it completely might not work for all forums.

I have all of mine in the root folder...
vbadvanced,,forum and arcade works fine without that code...

Could be a option for members that have them all in the root...
