No, what is it?

I more or less meant dowges, but TMS is Template Modification System with that addon you can manage template edits to get them automatically done.

First file for user with TMS installed:

Second file for user without TMS - have to do manual template edits:

Hi,

Great Mod!

I currently use the DBTech - User Tagging mod which inserts notifications in the standard vbulletin system. If I upgrade to your ultimate version and disable the default system, will these notification continue to come through?

Cheers

sorry for double post, but we've experienced quite a serious issue.

Shortly after installing our server suffered severe server load. It was continuously calling misc.php?do=ln_getcount&numonly=1. Status page displayed hundreds.

Renaming the misc.php seems to resolve the server issue, it then became more responsive.

Is this a known issue? If so, is there a fix?

It's a feature - lol :-D

That's a ajax product and it calls every X seconds (like you have set in admin settings) the url: misc.php?do=ln_getcount&numonly=1 to check for new notifications.

Please read more about techniques before installing everything. I hope you have a managed server...

//To get a lower serverload, disable product or set frequency higher "Ajax Update Interval". Renaming the misc.php is not a good idea because it can disable other functions (vB functions).

Will this add-on automatically post threads from a specific forum, to our Facebook page, like an RSS feed?

Thanks for that. I didn't realise the default setting was 5 seconds. The combination of that and high activity, didn't go so well. Increase seconds and it's now running okay.

Also, if you can please review my first post, that would be great.

I guess that these notification are not included in vBSocial.

Maybe request it but I think less people are using DB - User Tagging and Dave will include this own tagging system. Maybe he only includes bbcode mentions (for example search text if there is an [user]Kolb[/user] bbcode or whatever)

Hi, my theme has all the header code in the Navbar template, so where I need to add "{vb:raw livenotifications_header}" is in the navbar one. Because of this, I don't think it is working. Any way around this? Thanks
