Installed and working on a 4.1.2 board and I don't see any style issues in my skins so far and I have 4 in addition to the default. It identified a background color or two I had missed in the stylevar settings when I built one of the styles, so that was a positive for me.

What a great mod this is - I am sorry Andrew isn't with us any longer. He sure wrote great code that integrates well in this mod.

Does this work in vBulletin 4.1.2 with custom style?

That depends on your custom style. It works on the default style and it works on various custom styles.
This addon was created before the stylevar overhaul.

Aye - Agreed - I should comment that my 4 styles do not vary much from the defaults, mostly back ground/color font and arrangement items. 3 of them I got from vbulletin.org and the mod works in all of them.

I upgraded to 4.1.2 from 4.1.1 and then put this mod on.

DJ- you are proably just going to have to try it and see - It can be turned off if it doesn't work so the risk is low. And it's darn good looking code, too.

Is it possible to use an absolute download folder outside the Web site tree? (for the dl2folderpath variable)? Would the plugin work?

Does anyone have an issue searching? When I go to page 2 of the search results it loses its search.

Anyone have an idea of how it could be resolved?

I dont have that issue.

Does anybody have an idea about wich templates must be edited just to work fine with any custom style?

Do it first and then you'll know which ones to edit. Every style is different so the templates vary. Only after you see what you have can you or anyone know what needs to be edited.
