I'm on another computer right now that has IE 5 and it worked perfectly. I really do believe its an issue with IE 6.

I think I read in an earlier post that someone was using IE 5, their scores were recording then they upgraded to IE 6 and scores were no longer working

Can the author please check into this possibly? i really wish there was a way to downgrade my IE, anyone know of any ways?

okay, found a friend running xpsp1 with ie 6.5sp and she can get into the scoreboard just fine. shes got the #1 high score right now as a matter of fact?

Yep it sure does..... I tried lowering the security settings too and everything that my computer friend said to do..... I give up :cry:

i just installed windows longorn beta, and i can work my arcade fine through it, it also uses IE6 sp1 .... odd, it has to be something with our configs, author can you PLEASE look into this? pretty please? =þ

Being the dunce that I am, this is reasonably impressive. i've figured out why the comments aren't being shown on certain forums (was mine included.)

Go into your mysql database (though phpmyadmin or whatever you use) and alter the column in the "arcadescores" and "arcadetopscores" from "COMMENT" to "comment".

So simple, yet it's stopping comments from showing :beard:

Longhorn is exactly what it says - a beta. You can't possibly expect futureal to adapt this hack to a beta which he probably won't be using.

Also please be patient with futureal. He's kindly offered support for this hack and i'm sure he'll try to address all of your issues when he comes back :)

that isnt what i was mentioning, the fact is the hack works PERFECTLY in longhorn which has the same version of IE we are currently using. my point wasnt that he should change the script to work with longhorn, or anything about it, it was in reference to the fact that it isnt an ie problem, its somehow a configuration problem on our pcs

please be polite, it may not work for us, but it works for a about a million other people..the author released his work for free, your not forced to donate, but he deffinatly deserves a few for the amount of work he put into it

the script works awesome on my site, installs perfect every time, :) I made a small install addon, which is deep in the threads, but I can prob post it again if people want, cuts the install time to 5 mins if that. :)

But why does it work for the rest of my members but not me? I wanna kill myself :(

I didn't want to step on any toes, as it's more a fix for current version and devided up all the templates. If if no one has any problems with that I can release it. Not sure if it qualies as a full hack though, more follow the first part of the arcade hack, add my section then follow the rest of it ;)

MaDCaT.....do you have any anti virus software installed on your PC? Maybe check out those settings as well?...please don't kill yourself ;)

but I dont wanna leave myself open to all those nasty viruses while I play in the arcade! :cry:

I have norton antivirus 2003 but I dont think that would stop my scores from recording :cry:

someone said that there is a new template in this lot of posts where you dont need to have all the scores undernath the games.

All i want is the list of games and not a full page of scores from the games as they can see these when they click on the icon next to the games

anyone know what page its on and yep ive used thread search for new templates and thats throws up 100`s of posts.

better start hunting for it then ;)

over 100 posts in here and most of us dont have time to read em all or the inclination to do so.I was looking for the bit where it dont add templates for the high scores below the games and believe me ive read upto page 27 and gave up so 100 odd pages is a mission on its own.

Is there any easy way to remove all the hi-scores for all the games. The 'Scores Editor' doesn't seem to reset them.

I had that problem as well, I recently tried to reset 10 megs of scores eeewwww....

it didn't work...

I really don't have a problem doing it in the database itself, but I really don't want to do it that way.

Maybe the next version will have that feature to erase scores? :ermm:
