This is the correct format for the media url... however this is a PASSWORD PROTECTED show, so it will not work in the public Media Library.

The vBtube import needs to escape the comments, otherwise dB error when comment contains a single quote.

Today I updated vBulletin from 3.7.1 to vBulletin 4.0.7
THEN I upgraded Video-Directory 1.1.6 to 8WayRun 1.6

During the Rebuild Media Thumbnails phase .. I am receiving the following two errors on the detail page:

2 - Unable to add cookies, header already sent.

While upgrading to 8WayRun on my 4.0.7 vBulletin (testvb) the Rebuild Media Thumbnails is stopping at video /media.php?do=details&mid=7
BUT in my current 3.7.1 vBulletin (production) site that link is /video.php?do=viewdetails&videoid=9

Sigh, I am not sure what to do?? Please advise. I am also worried about dead links because of the upgrade and the file name change. Please HELP! I'm desperate!

Firstly FANTASTIC mod.

I've just installed and having a problem when trying to "add to favourites"

I click the heart it turns red then reloads the window again and it's gone and the counter does not update on the preview panel that I have the video as a favourite.

Any ideas?

It's vBSEO if i turn off vBSEO in the vbseocp then it works fine.

I am using vBSEO to rewrite urls but I've completely disabled that and returned everything to normal and it's still doing it.

Yes, a solution is needed for our Turkish (or Korean) language problems.

This would be amazing if you could associate a thread with the vid and use thread replies for the comments.

When a new video is posted, it is not notifying in the assigned forum. Any idea how to make this work? I created a subforum and pointed the hack there.

PS: I do have ajax enabled and it works fine once vbseo is disabled but it still does not work when you place media.php in the exclude area of vbseo so I would suggest it's a fundamental conflict with vbseo?

As a gaming clan, Many of our members like to create signatures and show them off in their posts, but this mod if it could be edited would be a great way to show off sigs that other members can look through and request to use

No alternative than to uninstall as it would never be able to go live on my site as it runs vbseo.

The product has a fundamental conflict with vbseo that even when you place media.php in the ignore list it still conflicts.

Also if you allow the built in SEO options to run then it conflicts with vbulletin profiles and refuses to load up peoples profiles. Could be vbseo again.

Some further input:

I think when you are using the playlist you should be able to add videos easier than urls to the playlist and also when you're listening to the playlist i think you should have an option to automatically jump to next video. This would mean you could have a music jukebox where you just press play and listen to someone's playlist.

Also I would like to be able to add videos that are not allowed to be embedded and then be able to be promoted to watch on youtube like what happens when you place a youtube video on the forum.

No, this is a complete rewrite.

As I said before, I don't give support for people with issues using VBSEO. I personally think VBSEO is snake oil and I've been very vocal about it.

Video sizes are configured in the hoster settings.

You would have to add "checked" to the field in the template.

Or how I can do it? We have videos stored on mediafire and would like to stream them to this mod.

Looks like it has an issue with vb 4.0.7

This code is present everytime any video is uploaded even when it isnt duplicate although the video does work and shows etc just db error shows and it doesnt create thread , which it did in 4.0.6

Basilrath, the length of your tags is limited by the length of tags settings in VB. However, when I run the insert tag process, I don't strip the inserted tag and check for it; it checks for how it's entered into the database. I will fix this for the future, but the reason why this is happening is because you are putting the tag "table tennis british league"; then the system goes to check if that tag already exists and it doesn't. However, the system then strips the tag to "table tennis british leag"... which DOES already exist. I will fix this for next version...

Just so people know... this next version will probably be the LAST vB4 version of this mod. I'm done with vB4 and plan on moving over to XenForo as soon as I can. If you have any requests, get them in now.

So after then next update you're abandoning this mod?
