It depends on what type of shop you are asking about. If you are looking for a real store where real money changes hands, then no you can't do that with this.

If you want to add items that people can by with the points they've earned, then yes you can do that. There is an action file in this thread somewhere where you can add physical items to the shop. But it only transfers points, not money.

The reputation system is set up to give reward the person giving the good reputation not the person getting it. The person getting the good reputation is already being rewarded with good reputation, why throw money in there as well??? This is a great way to get people to start using the reputation system however. I know it works as designed on version 1.1.2, but not sure about previous versions.

Just noticed however that I've not been getting E-Mail updates for this hack? I've noticed the changes I just thought there may be a few people who haven't.

I get this error when I go do Mass Forum Settings under ebux options and try to change something... I don't think I have any bux_ tables in my forum database, I cant find any.

How do i make it so that users can't purchase certain colors for their names when they change it? I don't want them to have the same colors as mods or admins.

As Admin, I donated myself 1000 points through admin donate... I had 0 points, and it should have bumped my points to 1000... instead, it bumped it to 2000. What happened?

I think this was an earlier bug that may not have been fixed. Are you on version 1.1.2?

***EDIT*** I just tested it on 1.1.2 and I am not having that problem. It was reported earlier but appears to have been fixed now.

can anyone suggest an sql query to remove all ribbons .. some members had ribbons purchased as a gift ( pre 1.1.2 ) and I need to remove them.

I finally took the plunge and installed this rather than messing around on a test site.

My observations so far is that it's a fantastic hack but I've noticed the following:

Would like to see a preview for all name effects before confirmation (or an HTML color picker as I mentioned before)
The "hand" cursor doesn't appear in the postbit if you've got a glowing username .. it becomes a "selection" cursor instead. This should be fixable as it works ok in ushop.
Compatability with comments made in vbadvanced (photopost) gallery etc. would be nice
The navbar breadcrumb doesn't change, would be better if it updates depending on where you are in the store ... or at least have a 'return' link somewhere.
The buttons are very hard to read (but I may make my own)
Would be cool to get an Email or PM on points donation so you know where they are coming from.
Clicking to see your "Points eStore Information" takes you to your profile, shouldn't it take you to your inventory?

I had a problem with this initially. I did a Mass Forum Setting. I set all of my forums to the same points per reply, thread creation, etc... Then in the Manage Options I also set a value there. Turns out it either adds or multiplies your forum point option with the setting you set in Manage Options (eBux Options Menu).

Upgraded to 1.1.3 with no problems so far. Now off to find the changes and goodies!

Help.
I fresh installed v1.1.3 and it doesn't allow members of any usergroup to buy options.
Also when I try to change usegroup permissions it gives me this:

Is there anyway to allow the same present to show up more then once on the users postbit. A bun of people bought a user of my site the Kick me present and want it to show more then once...in fact they want him to have 5 of them :)

I don't know but you could start a vbookie event on who may be the winner!

Just kidding...I am not sure how vbookie works because I don't have it installed yet. At this point I think the only way to tell is to look in the database.

Upload all the files in the Upload folder and then reinstall the product .xml file. When importing the .xml file, make sure you selec the yes option to allow overwrite.

Cron Task Added for the Lottery. When it chooses a winner for the lottery, it sends a PM to the user who won the lottery.

Is there a way for admins to also know who won the lottery? Winner might only come in oncein awhile and everyone would be asking who won.

Somebody will probably have to write a plugin to handle something like this. As far as I know, it can't be done right now.

I have to say...I dont think Ive ever seen any mod updated as much as this one! :lol:

You did just request it. If anybody is interested they may pick up the idea and make something for you. Don't get discouraged if you don't see somebody make it any time soon though. If it's a must, you may want to look into hiring somebody to make it for you.

(what happened to your navbar.... Mine is much bigger)

He probably has a custom theme that doesn't have a navbar. It's not uncommon for some themes to have the navbar replaced in the header and it has to be coded as part of a graphics scheme.

The update says

1) Added an Item History to log a history of each item that is purchased.

But i am getting this:

This item does not have any eStore history recorded yet. - Although a lot of items have been bought. I take it the history starts from the time 1.1.3 was installed?

CMX. I think history should display bought by and for who. Ie It would perfect if users could see which members bought user titles for and what the user title was changed to.
