Zombie, that option is in 4images under your settings... its not being answered because I can only guess that, is 4images job.
Which it is there. if you are an admin you don't need to validate a image unless you specify. |
Also, if people are having issues getting cookies to stick and login info kept intact and your forums are a subdomain... try making your gallery a subdomain as well. Apparently the cookies will require the same kind of setup with the recent release of vb 3.0.7 from what I understand.
So perhaps putting this into the READ ME file of this hack would benefit those like myself that struggled with forums on a subdomain and a gallery that wasnt after the vb update. |
I posted a question about integrating this over at vB.com:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=140646 I already posted about this in the first page of this post, but that was over a year ago (and the instructions for how to do it lost me) -- does anyone have any new tips/ideas? As I said there, the only idea I have is to change all the user IDs of members of my gallery to some really high numbers, and then go back and change them to IDs that match their IDs at the board, but I guess that might be a problem if I'd have to change that on each user's pictures as well if pictures associate with the ID and not username or something. |
Just wanted to say this problem has been solved in the "old fashioned way." I am simply going through and editing every user's full set of pictures individually to match their board ID. :) It's taken me the last 9 hours so far, but I am a bit over halfway there.

I don't know if this has been posted here or not, but this regards UserGroups for vB and 4Images.
To use UserGroup permissions from the forums in 4Images, open the 4Images constants.php file and find- // User groups level $waitinggroups = array(3); // vB Group should be waiting for moderate. seperate each group by comma $usergroups = array(2); // Groups that are USERS in album. seperate each group by comma $admingroups = array(6); // vB groups that are ADMINS in album. seperate each group by comma Then open your vB AdminCP, go to the UserGroups section, and take a look at your UserGroup ID numbers. Add in the groups you want into whichever setting for the constants.php. Example- I created a usergroup in vB that can't download stuff until they have so many posts. So to prevent them from downloading in the Gallery as well, I add their vB user group number to the $waitinggroups array. If I want my SuperMods to be admins on the Gallery as well, then I add their usergroup ID to the $admingroups array. ...and so on. No need to create new fields in the database vB users table or anything. |
I would like to remove the code that causes the vBulletin Who's Online to show people who are at the gallery (even though I removed all the vBulletin file changes in this hack). What would I change in 4images to get it to stop do ing this (or can I)?

Can someone show me a first start?
