OK I just had this happen on my first ever test of this after installing it on my board. A few questions.. 1) Can anyone settle the bets?? I see no setting asking who can settle the bets.. I'm assuming that anyone on the board can settle the bet and that somebody on my board settled the bet and settled it wrong? 2) Is there anyway to find out who settled the bet? |
Ok I found out it was a mod that settled.. must be default that mods can settle bets.. ?
How can I make it so that only the admin can settle bets? |
I'm getting this error after having completed all the file edits:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in d:\server\easyphp\www\vbulletin\includes\functions .php on line 1887 Fatal error: Call to undefined function: is_browser() in d:\server\easyphp\www\vbulletin\global.php on line 59 I can't for the life of me find where the error i tho as those errors have nothing to do with any of the dits I'd done. I've gone thru all the edits to make sure I didn't drop a ")" or ";" whilst copying over the code and everything looks fine. I'm really stumped. Anyone any ideas? The Wolverine :D |
I've narrowed it down to this in the instructions:
Code:
OPEN includes/functions.php Still can't figure out why that statement is causing so much havoc though. Any ideas? The Wolverine :D |
Can someone tell me where in the files for this hack is the following condition variable set?
Code:
<if condition="$showsettlebutton"> |
Here's a suggestion:
Make it possible to 'add a vBookie event to this thread', as we can currently do with polls, after a thread has been created. :) |
I've sorted my issue out now and it works like a charm :) I have one question though. I want to make use of vCash to hand out cash so I thought I'd program a lil addon in the admin cp. All I'm going to want the addon to do is submit a form with userid and payment and basically add that to what the user currently has in the db. The querying is simple enough, I'm just not sure about creating the form in keeping with the way the form is created for the main vBookie options in the admin cp. So what I mean is I'm unsure as to how the functions print_cp_header, print_form_header, print_table_header etc. work. Anyhow able to explain briefly how the submission of the form works and how the form is constructed with those functions in vbookie_admin.php?
Thanks The Wolverine :D |
Obviously support for this hack is gone..
I worked out my problem to there is a line in vbookie.php that gives moderators permission to settle bets.. I just deleted that line. |

I was hoping to modify the vbookie thus: Give each user 100 cyber sheckles to bet on EACH event, and keep a running total of their wins/losses. It would allow me to run a footy prediction competition. Anyone able to help on how to achieve this? |
