You can paste a youtube link in a CMS page and it parses but if you paste that exact same link in a post it doesn't?

Well, I've finally worked out why my site wasn't working. After trawling through this thread I saw a reference to [IMG] tags being turned off.
We turned off our image tags a while back to force everyone to upload images rather than linking to them. I turned [IMG] tags back on on all the forums and the embed code now displays and works perfectly. Maybe this is something that can be added to your FAQ. As a side issue to that, we now have [IMG] tags forced back on :) Is there a way to separate the embedding of videos with images or are we stuck with things this way thanks to vb4? |
