It appears the rewriter does not work in Safari. I use Firefox for two of my sites, but the one with the issue I always view in Safari.

I also checked Opera, and it works fine there, too. I assume 99% of people are using this mod in IE so if there was a problem with that browser you would already know about it!

Have you tested in the new Safari 4.0? I just downloaded to test things out and links converted fine using that version of Safari. I did see a link to download Safari 3 instead but opted to go for the new version.

I haven't upgraded my Safari in a while- I'm using Version 3.2.1. I'll try upgrading and let you know if that helps. Thanks!

The modification should work the same independent of browsers. It does not interface with the browser directly in any way. Try clearing the cache.

How should members be linking their auctions on the site? All of the ebay links on my site right now are being taken to an ebay page that says:

This listing () has been removed, or this item is not available.

    * Please check that you've entered the correct item number
    * Listings that have ended 90 or more days ago will not be available for viewing.
This happens to brand new listed items, currently running listings and even listing that just closed.

I've had the same thing happen a number of times also. Another thing I've seen, don't know if it's related or not is that it will take you to the item but it's an old page or something and doesn't show the true status of the bids and etc.
