It really amazes me how people don't take the time to read. I have this hack installed on a live site with no problems. And yes, I had problems with the install. How did I fix them? I read everything from page 1 and tried a few of the fixes offered up by other members until I got one that worked for me.

As much as I would like to see this get a full release, I have my doubts that it will happen... But, I just deal with the parts I can't offer my members and still offer them free e-mail... They are happy, I am happy...

Too many people expect a million dollar mod for free and complain when they don't get it.... Yet, they still run Windows and pay for it....

Thanks to everyone that has worked on this project to make it functional enough to at least send and receive e-mail. And for the effort of all the coders that made their own little fixes then posted them here for everyone....

Not to break or annoy anyone..why not go with socketmail for an email service that can use vb as well :)

PS- vbms is great...but its development is too slow. Thats the problem..If Vbms started developing, having its own forum, member base which added its own plugins for email..I guarantee it would rock..but the fact is the development is too slow and theres not enough features that would drive you use to use the vbms...

If Krofh (coder) started pushing the development further and a dedicated forum or site for it..it might just push off...but right now it looks too unappealing to me.

Anything using a catch all account is a bad idea. I just uninstalled this hack because every day the catch all account was being clogged with 20,000 ++ undeliverable emails
