First at all, please click Mark as Installed, thanks.

Second:
- Goto "ACP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products".
- Click "Add/Import Product".
- In the "Import Product" section, click the browse button and select the XML file
- Click "Import"

Same for Level.

something that would be a really good feature for this is to be able to set how many rows of items to display and how many items in each row in postbit...

i see in shop settings that we can set how many can show, but no way to set how they can be displayed

would like to be able to show a lot of items in postbit...

options could be like

show items in postbit? ( ie. 50)

number of rows? (ie. 5)

number items per row? (ie. 10)

could this be something that could be done?

sounded really good to me...

if members are going to work to earn points to get the items, then why would they not want to display them in their posts, instead of having them hidden in their profile?

the way it is now, won't it just keep making one line of items? this means that not many can be displayed on postbit...

i use the living avatars and have a lot of space for items and it would be nice to be able to fill that space up with items :up:

hope you will consider adding the option for the rows and how many per row...

You can move the icons near signature, there you have so much more space.

yes, you can add a few more that way, but there is also a problem with how the items show in the profile when you have a lot of items...if there is not a way to break the rows then we are also limited to how many items the members can purchase :(

How to remove an item from a user?

To add items to shop:

1. Create a category for your items by going to ACP/vBExperience/Manage Shop/Add Category

2. Add items to server: images/misc (make a new folder called 'item', in which you can upload all of your images)

3. Add items to shop: ACP/vBExperience/Manage Shop (click on 'edt items' in the category that you created, then on 'add item')

In order for your items to be added and appear on postbit and profile you will need to fill out the add form.

Title: Whatever name you want the item to appear as in the shop.
Description: Any description you want the item to have, or you can leave blank if none.

Picture: /images/misc/item/youritem.gif
Thumb: /images/misc/item/youritem.gif
Icon: /images/misc/item/youritem.gif

add the path to your item
*be sure to fill out all three of these or items may not appear on pages

CatID: the number of the category you want the item to be in
Quantity: how many you want to be in stock
Cost: how many points the item costs
Costfield: what category or categories the points will be taken from
Display Order: where the item will display in the category
Delete: if you want to delete item click on yes and save


To buy items:

click on vBExperience on nav bar, then on shop, there chose the category and item you want to purchase

It gives me no option to manage the shop or add categories at all

make sure you added everything correctly to database and imported both of the xml files via ACP, one for the product and one for the level you want to use, the different levels are in the extras folder

ok I finally added items.... and how can I make my items show up next to each persons username in posts and such?

Say they buy a cookie (virtual) and how can I make it show up next to their username in all posts!

I add items and users can buy them now but they do not display in the forums and nor do they show up next to username in posts or on profile....

Just installed this and applied settings as needed, ran the recount option too.

A few problems:

- blank page when clicking on
manage shop
manage awards
statistics: level
manage custom points
delete statistics

- all 3 bars appear, but no text at all for some reason

I uploaded all files for sure as well

I have noticed a significant decrease in my servers performance since the release of this Modification. Have any idea why the huge draw off server reasources?

mine works fine, what i had to do is put the imagas in both:

mystyle/images/misc/level

and

images/misc/level

Does anyone know why my members don't level up?? they're all level 1... no matter how much posts/points they have.

First of all: If you don't get a response from me than this is a real sign I'm just not on my computer. That means I cannot answer your questions. Asking here every few minutes for support on the same thing does not speed up anything.

Second: Do the people read the files included in the ZIP or even written on first post? Most of the questions are already answered there.

If this does not change in the near future I will not answer such questions anymore.


Limit the items via settings. Currently there is no other solution to this.

The first are the points for threads and the seconds are the sum of point for threads and other data summed as thread.

Phalynx I have done all of that and uploaded items that are 16x16 pixels.....

They wont display instead TEXT is diplayed in postbit under username saying

User owns x10 ITEMS

but it wont display the items themselves next to their username or in the shop it just shows the text name of the item.

What directory do the items specifically have to be in?

Does both PNG and GIF work?

What am I doing wrong?

My Awards are working fine and the Points and Level Bars work fine but the Items do not!

which directory path do they need to go in? images/misc/level?

You didn't installed level XML. Please follow the install instructions carefully.

YOU are referencing the images in item properties as you have to fill the full name to the image. If you name a GIF, a GIF will be displayed (if available), if you name a file on another server, vBExperience will display this.

To make sure you are doing all correct, just erase all 3 graphic fields so the default image will be shown.
