My best bet is upload only install_dnp_musicbox.php and try to run through the whole installation step. If everything works fine it's pretty sure your host supports AJAX

The time request was sent does not really affect the release. Everything is on schedule to be included at one time or another. Some request is as purely personal and is not demanded by a greater number of people, therefore it will be considered to include or not. Since it may create potential problem.

Is it possible to add videos from a site not on your list?

Very nice. One thing is my members are a bunch of stoners, is there any way this mod could grab the content directly from the url. I feel that this will be the biggest stumbling block when trying to get this mod used by the members. I have taught the to use the media ID but I eventually abandoned that for a system that would pull the media directly from the url.

Yes it is just as easy. Only thing you need to know is the base link of that site's player and then the clip unique id

I have not done so for the reason of security matter. Imagine if a malicious one decides to trap your site to pull content from a shell/exploit page, it will be more vulnerable than ever. Besides, in a situation there are more than just one media on a page then which one would the site grabs ?

If this feature really exists it will generate even more problem, trouble and hassle than the way it works right now. Direct URL is not a drawback , it's already the simplest yet efficient compares to other methods.
