That's what they will kick you out for. So, what we are trying to hinder is someone copying a link that's been modded and then pasting it in an eBay auction, or eBay Blog or eBay Forum post. |
eBay is going to address with a new option that allows affiliates to enter "allowed" sites in their EPN control panel. They claim it should be available in a couple of months.

I'm not sure what you mean. How would this work?

Referrer check?

Yes.. they do that so you can pick which sites you should be held responsible for (and receive commission for)

I'm having a weird error I hope someone can help me with. I recently purchased an existing forum w/vbulletin installed, and rewrite ebay links. I have two other sites (for years, I'm not a newbie) with VB and REL running just fine. Here's my problem, when I click through on the new site, I am getting a &salenotsupported, leading me to believe that I am not getting payment for the click/bid.
Now, look at this example link posted from the newly purchased existing site: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...3250&viewitem=&salenotsupported You can click through any link on the site and see that "error". I've uninstalled and re-installed REL trying to figure it out. Can someone help me, please? My other sites link look normal. Any idea what's going on? Thanks, Rebecca |
The modification does not add any such references - so the problem lies within the posted link, another modification, or a browser extension or the like.

To be honest - I'm not sure. Try loading up the site on a different browser, this will eliminate the browser as an issue.
