Many thanks.

I have attached the functions_post_thanks for anyone who may need it to get this mod working with 4.2.5 and PHP 7.

It fixes the problem, thank you!

Hi,

We have just updated our forum finally to version 4! However my colleague who actually created the forum and sorted out the plugins and add ons etc is no longer here. I understand and know all the basics and can usually read instructions but I am having a bit of trouble trying to get this add on back I was wondering if you guys would be able to help me?

I downloaded the post_thanks_ version_7.84+with_and-without-integrated_postbit_box_collapse.zip moved it over to the server it needs to be on and from what I took from the instructions I then just needed to add this as a plugin on vbulletin but I wasn't exactly sure how to upload the XML file as that wasn't in the folder that I was told to download.

This may seem so easy to you guys but any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

AdminCP>Plugins&Products>Add new plugin.

Upload the XML from there.

If I click on the add new plugin there is no where to add the XML however the XML can be added in add a product.

On the add new plugin page it asks me for some PHP code which I am not sure where to find.

Try selecting manage products and down the bottom select 'add/import product' this takes you to the import page where you can select the XML file.

Hi,

Yes I've done all that and now what seems to happen is the 'thanks' shows up under the posts but there isn't an image next to the text and once the button has been clicked it disappears and doesn't register the thanks. This makes me think somethings not linking up properly?

JARNAR 06-10-2017 07:04 AM

I can not import the product, what should I do?

(Error XML: Invalid document end line 577)

Which is the product "Post Thank" for version 4.2.4?

I keep geting this when trying to install 7.88:

Quote:

The following dependencies were not met:
This product is not compatible with version 4.2.5 of vBulletin. (Compatible starting with 4.1.12 / Incompatible with 4.2.4 and greater)
I tried changing it to:

<dependency dependencytype="vbulletin" minversion="4.2.0" maxversion="4.2.5" />

But it didn't work. Any solutions?
