Used 7.84+ and worked on my 4.2.4

Updated my forum to 4.2.4 and I had 7.86 installed and the 7.88 won't install "not compatible with 4.2.4" any ideas? Thanks!
removed the 7.86 tried to install 7.88 without any success.
