Ok, well I wasn't really concerned about the images at that point, but I guess I needed to fix that eventually. It's still using the wrong skin style though. Look at the difference in the board skin compared to the one the home page is using.
|
That's where is the problem, it doesn't look in the right directory for style, images, etc.
Make sure it points to the right place, it will fix all your problems. |
Where is the option to set it to the right style?
http://www.fishinjunkies.com/me/adminss.gif http://www.fishinjunkies.com/me/templatess.gif The only option your hack gives is to change the images folder... and I did that. You can see that my images are set correctly here: http://www.fishinjunkies.com/me/imagess.gif So why isn't it working?? It's like it's ignoring the rest of the replacements set... why? |
Ok, well we're slowly getting there by manually editing the forum home templates, but it should really just use the replacement set like the board does, it would be SO much easier.
|
Oh and before you ask,
My style set id is #1 My replacement set id is #7 My template set id is #7 I've tried alll of those numbers in the template set ID option, and none of them work. |
You might not be able to help me, but I thought I'd ask anyway. I used to have vBindex, but I wanted to switch over to vb home. So I'm pretty sure I deleted all the files and uninstalled it. Then I installed vbhl, and I think rather than making a whole new template set, it just copied over the vbindex ones. So what I'm assuming are vb home templates, are listed under vbindex. Then, when I edit the templates nothing heppens. The templates are edited, but it's not changing the front page. I don't know if this has anything to do with the vbindex or not bu thopefully someone can help me. :-/

Anyway ignore that, I think i fgired out the problem. I thought my default template set was 1, which it wasnt so thats why it wasnt working. However, I had my default colors. But then I put in number 7, and then i noticed the template changes i made, but now the colors and style isn't working. I had multiple styles disabled because I wanted to only have my default style, which happens to be number 1. So how do I set it to template 7, but style 1? And, does this option only work if the style and template id numbers are the same?
This, BTW, is the same problem Warlard has I think. |
i need some help. i try to install however :-
Open template.php file (located in /admin/forum folder) and perform the code change listed below. FIND: $only['getinfo'] = 'User Info Display'; BELOW, ADD: $only['home'] = 'Home Page'; firstly, admin/ is admincp and secondly that line of code isn't there. can any1 help as this is urgent :ermm: all the best :) |
I haven't read all of this thread...is this hack still available for installation? I tried going to their website and didn't find any thing.
I also need to know if it is compatible with the latest version of Vbulletin. Thanks! |
