Well, I was dumb yesterday but think I figured a few things out...
1. Using RC4 for VBulletin 3.0 requires a different set of directions. 2. Building on #1: you won't find the lines in template.php or newthread.php to be updated 3. And... if global.php goes in root and 2 levels down (1 for forums, 2 for admin) then vbhlinstall.php can't say include ./global.php because global.php is not in the forums folder...it's one higher than that in the root folder. So...it VBHome(lite) 4.2 certified for Vbulletin 3.0 RC4 ? |
This will not work with vb3 at all. It is a portal for vB2. Check in the vB3 section for the vB3 portal.

Thanks...but now I got rid of VB3 and put in VB2.3...
I did everything except screwed up typing in newthread.php correct.. I had: () instead of [ ] for an array. Anyway, everything installed.... homepage bombs out with error I'll show in a sec... So fixed the newthread.php file...uninstalled home(lite) and reinstalled it..... Same issue... Quote:
The basis was to change over index.html and all assoc pages to index.php |
