I had terrible trouble installing this hack - then I followed the instructions properly and it worked like a dream :D
My members love this, now all I have to do is get them out of the arcade and posting again ;)

Still not working for me, did a complete reinstall but still getting errors when selecting a game. I can play and it saves the scores BUT when i select :

on the right side, it redirects me to the main page with all errors, so gifs not loaded etc.

I asked in the services forum but nobody answered me..... can someone please make a submit and reset thing for copter for $10 please!?

The person must have the option enabled in their USERCP and then on a post they made, click their name and from the drop down list choose Challenge blah blah :p

In the arcade, click on the user you want to challenge, there will be a link.

Not unless they turnt the option on IIRC

Is there a way to turn it on enmasse?

Ok, I'm ussually pretty good at installing hacks, and for some reason I am totally lost here...

In the instructions it says...

I've never seen any version of vBulletin with directories called admincp and includes. These are ftp files, right? I thought maybe you meant admin/index.php, etc. But the code changes it called for weren't in the file. As far as an includes directory, I have no idea where that is.

Then I thought maybe you meant template changes, so I looked in there for templates with the same name and couldn't find any.

I'm at a loss.. can someone help me?

(I'm using vBulletin version 2.3.4)

This hack is for vB3 mate, this whole section is vB3, there is another section on the forum for vB2 hacks including a Arcade for vB2

NM, (feels stupid). I just realized this hack is for vBulletin 3.0....

Guess the big white letters that said '3.0' should've given it away, lol.

Just upgraded my board from RC2 to RC4 and reinstalled this. There are a couple of new versions of the files, in particular, a new includes/init.php - released as a security fix - I dont think it's in the download zip, but keir has linked to it in the RC4 thread on vB.com. I applied the hack to the new init.php and it killed my forum. I re-uploaded the old init.php and all works well. Might be something to look into. ;)

(don't mean to knock the hack or the games.....the games are cool.... but they become crappy flash games when you must pay to play them thats all :))

i was wondering - is it possible to make the arcade home page viewable to unregistered visitors - so that they can see what the games section is all about - this would hopefully increase members signing up because of the arcade

lmao fonz. Just edit the arcade permissions of the unregistered/guest usergroup.. lol You need to edit the permissions for these people anyways after installing this hack otherwise no one will see it... go through the normal steps of permissions before asking questions and you would have already had this done. Just letting you know.

I'm using the new init.php and following the directions exactly kills my forum.... I'm using RC4 downloaded under a week ago with the updated files in them. I just triple checked all of the instructions and it works all the way until I upload functions.php

It also killed the who's onine for my forum.

I'd like to know if anyone (with atleast 5000 game sessions) is having problems recording game scores?? This has been the case at my board. Some scores dont go through. :/
