After using "Donate to users" it wont add points to the end user, anyone know why?

I think to get instant results you may have to run a cron, otherwise you have to wait for that scheduled task to update the points count.

Not sure though.

I'm having an issue where user titles cannot be changed. Even if I change them in the admincp, they revert back to whatever was set by the Point Market.

I've also tried running the user title updater in the maintenance section. It appears to be broken for me, resulting in that looping over and over again. I let it run for about 30 minutes before realizing it.

It's a reported known glitch.

Since that's all you mention, is it safe to assume there is no work around? :(

I got problems with your addon "market" (so the point system).I was logged in as admin but i wasn't abel to view the market things (bank purchase etc,) the software tells me that i have no rights to view this category
what could that be

Edit the usergroup permissions and enable it for them to view the Point Market and I believe the Bank as well. The converter, purchase history, etc. is reflective of the bank setting I believe in 3.0.1 due to a glitch. It's been fixed for what I'm releasing this week.

It would be nice if you moved all that purchase code inside market.php outside of it. Could setup a nice hook for it instead. Also why in the world would you enable html for user titles?

market.php has been completely cut up in the next release so it's a lot easier to edit, view, and debug. I enabled html for usertitles only for those admins who want to enable the market item. You can always disable it as it is obviously have some drawbacks.

Do you mean into multiple files? And I still think you should add a purchase hook so it is easy to add custom stuff to the store. Or actually doing it like bbcode would be nice. Add a hook that is called that adds items to a list. These items define some stuff about the purchasable item and have some callbacks like one that is called when it is purchased.

Well I don't see why anyone would ever enable it. I mean I can kinda understand it being bbcode, but html is just monstrous.

Hello, my lottery has ended. But there is no winner announced yet, should I be doing this manually?

for some reason i cant get this to work on vb4.1 it continues to say about permissions however there is no option anywhere to edit them.

Am I missing something - I don't know if I am just being silly or completely blind but I want to have a lottery etc however that type of thing comes up under the Premium Addon Features and no matter what I do I can't get them to be active.

Is it possible or is payment required somewhere to get them?

There is no announcement currently I believe.

A member has to purchase gambling access in the store with some points before one can buy tickets. But the lotteries are made in the acp.

Just to update, I found out that the problem I was having with my lotteries was a glitch/bug with the mod - even though the member in question - that was winning every single lottery we did - didn't purchase a ticket for the lottery, he won the round!

Shall wait until the next mod update is released (if its as soon as it appears! :D ) and see if that rectifies the issue.

Installed the mod and working without any problems.

I don't know if my problem has been mentioned yet, but for some reason when users make a purchase of anything in the market area, their points reset back up to whatever they have earned. I am integrated with vbexperience 4.04 RC.

its the "username glow" effect
find the user (admincp) and go at his market settings (bottom right).
find the glow effect text field and delete whatever it says inside. leave it blank and save.

if you want to disable the effect in general, from your admincp go to the left bar with the products, and select:
point market >> forum items
you'll see a list. find the username glow thing.
at the right of that column you'll see a small "notebook" icon.
click on it and at the new window, go at the botom right. you'll see that its "enabled"
change it to "disabled", save and you're done :)

It's not only one or two, we are talking about hundreds.
The v2 had the glowing effect only in posbit, but v3 has it in wgo and the theadbit too.

Like this user has originally pink username, from usergroup. It was PINK till I upgraded to Market v3.

You can buy a glow color or change it in the ACP. Put a hex #XXXXXX that can be unique. Then go to your phpmyAdmin and let's try to find this value #XXXXXX. It could be possible.
