I think you're right about the order they are installed is what runs first ...at least with 3.5 version it did

I have enabled Q&A as an extra measure on my site http://helmer.co this mod seems to no longer function. It acts like the timer never starts until after I press the register button. This of course fails all registrations on my site.

Any chance you could take a look at this?

That may be the same problem a few other people were having. I'll try to find time to look at it.

The email notifications quit working for me too a while back - now pretty sure it was after I had enabled Q&A
though the timer has worked right and basic functionality of this mod seems to have been working all along
-just can't prove it with Q&A enabled

Temporarily disabled the Q&A today and the emails started working again
I had always mistakenly thought it was a conflict with SOM :)

Unfortunately still can't make it post to a thread again - even with Spam-O-Matic and Q&A disabled
but haven't heard anyone else report this problem - so it's probably just me

using vBulletin 4.1.12 with latest patches

EDIT:email notification also still works if enabling ReCaptcha or Image Verification - it's just something about the Q&A thing

I have been getting a lot more spam using the 'contact us' form lately

Is there a way to use this mod to protect the Contact Us Site Feedback Form with the same timer based method?

That's an interesting idea. I suppose there's no reason not to apply the same idea to that form. But of course it would only work if it's being submitted by a bot.

I find it best to turn contact us off to guests

They do appear to be from some bot using generic text

though mainly it was used for people having trouble registering and it wasn't really abused much until recently.
