Log into your admin cp, click vbulletin options and scroll to the bottom of the page. Should be around there.

Anyone know how I can get my birthday box back?

I had birthdays on the Portal for ages, with no proble. I noticed the other day it was gone. The templates are still there, and the $birthdaybits is still there, yet nothing appears on the portal. I tried pasting the table into the home page, but didn't work.

A weird thing: I had a look in the database and there are only 3 files for templateset id -2 (which is what the birthday code called). One was 'maxloggedin' and the other was 'onlineloc'. I don't appear to have either of these templates, but no matter. The the othe one was the 'birthdays'. However, there was not only thousands of them, but they were all pointing to the profile of this one user and all were dated the same date in Sept.

Is it possible I got hacked? If not why on earth did I end up with thousands of templates for that one user. I have deleted him (he's never posted) and deleted all those templates from the DB. But I still can't get my birthdays back on the Portal. :(

Anyone know how I can fix?

Thanx

Hi,

That won't work, the DNS for your site and the way the intenet is set up will not permit that. You will need to move you files for vbulletin into its own directory, ie. Forum/ then edit your paths and then install vbhome at root level.

DNS refreshes to root index.html and if you have a index.php (well on my servers) then it defaults to the .php extension. Some cp software for servers such as cPanel can allow redirects that are quite intricate, but not even in your case. its best to move the files.

My 2?

Okay, I moved the forum scripts to a forum directory, and installed this hack, following the instructions to a T. I got an error when going to the vbhome index:

"Fatal error: Cannot redeclare archive_nopermission() (previously declared in /home/bozzyswo/public_html/unrulypolitics.com/global.php:378) in/home/bozzyswo/public_html/unrulypolitics.com/forum/admin/functions.php on line 2588"

Somebody tell me what the heck this means. else this hack is useless.

PS-- I just love the fact that the readme file has no troubleshooting info. How dare somebody release a hack and not support it! ;-)

I wish somebody else has this problem and knows what to do...
