exactly, and my arcade is the most trafficed page on my website, which is why i am trying to figure out a way to both record scores and get the ads on the arcade page.

Simple, just put the phpAdsNew javascript in the "ARCADE" template. :)

No, because the ARCADE template isn't included in the actions which are called from the games. (And that's what causes the problems.)

Is there a version of this available for Version 3 RC 4?

Tried installing this 3 times and comes up with an error message that there is a duplicate code in one of the files and when this is deleted and the install proces works, the admin cp for the arcade doesn't work correctly.

It works perfect on RC 4...

Just to verify, I got this working on RC4. Not trying to pile on, just wanting to encourage people that it does work and is worth the effort if you are having troubles.

I had a feeling it would be something i'm doing, but keeps doing the same thing. I'll keep trying, i've seen this in action and I am amazed!

Erm, got the thing working! Going to use notepad all the time from now on I think!

The program I was using decided to point files to my computer on saving, not the server!

Is there anyway to create a tournament add-on to the v3arcade. A tournament where you could select one game and multiple users could play the tournament, but it would only accept one score (or the first score) for each user. For example, take Pacman. All users could use the regular pacman in v3arcade to play at their leisure. But I setup a "tournament" section that users can go and play one game of pacman and it then ranks all participants. That way, monthly or weekly, a website could host a tournament... (Just an idea.)

You know what, this would be a great feature! I can already see how much more fun it could bring to any discussion forum.

i installed this with VBRC4 and it seems that the installer does not auto add the templates there fore leaving the Arcade page blank.. Just an update for vb rc4. Any one else havin this problem??

Edit the DAtabase directly with phpMyAdmin or a CLI - take a look @ the games_sessions table ...

From what I hear, I doubt we'll be getting anymore miniclip games. As somebody found it necessary to report the use of the miniclip games to miniclip...so they aren't to happy.

Stupid dumbasses at miniclip.com - if they took there heads out of their asses and reliased what a great compliment the arcade is to advertising Miniclip....Sheez...

Do Not Use Dreamweaver to modify your functions.php . Dreamweaver killed the coding in it. Use Notepad or a other tool.

Not the issue, this is all done in Notepad. Anyhow, I got past that part.

I had several installation problems with this one, so I had reverted back some of the changes...specifically to init.php. After making those again, it's good.
