Does it waste a turn in battle, or does it just make you pick a weapon again, without losing a turn?

There's been about 3 people that have had that problem. I have never experience it, but it is an error from the original Itemshop. All I can suggest is that you read https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...635#post362635 and try that.

Go into your memberprofile template and delete the duplicates.

Bitsys: it doesn't waste a turn in battle. U just select use the exlir and it just starts loading a new page but it's the exact same page as you were on before. U dont' waste a turn, u can just go again but without the effect of that item.

Are there any values given for the default items' level and buff, or has everyone made these values up on their own? I apoligize if this is a stupid question, which I'm sure it is. :cross-eyed:

I was thinking about some add-ons, but I'd suggest after the major bugs have been fixed.

1) Background music
a) If there are two or more midis, the user can choose like choosing a battle scene AND an option of not having a bgsound.

b) Kinda like an underpop up that only shows up once during battle so that when the page refreshes, it won't start over again, just loops. Also, if it's an underpop up, the opponent can close it incase he/she doesn't want to listen to the midi. Or some sort of iFrame with midi controls. @_@;

2) How can I fix the page so that the table won't mess up when the user max. and min. the window and/or has diff. resolution?


As to having a problem, I still get a database error when I edit the itemshop, but I think I know why it causes it. Where it says script it says http://www.mysite/forums/forums/[etc...]
Notice the two /forums? I don't know where to fix that. And the store won't restock items. =/

ya i think battle music would be really nice but i also think i could just add it to the battle page without editing php.

I have bg music at my forum its easy to add.

hey chrisz, that's great! u think u could post the script and template u edited for us just to save some time and hassle.

I did that, BUT, when the page refreshes it starts over again, and maybe some users don't want to hear bgmusic. And I wanted users to have a variaty of choices just like the battle scenes. Just by putting the code to have bgmusic annoyed most of the users so I just took it off.

EDIT: I put up the new files of itemadmin.php and itemshop.php and it all works fine now. I guess my buddy Eden (co-admin and hacker) forgot to put those files. >_>; Hey, can anyone help me in intergrating the lesane store hack with itemshop? Please? :(

Umm is it possible that there could be an equipped item/un equipped item option and allowe dto have more than 1 of the same type of weapon. because everytime i buy a new weapon it replaces my old one and i don't get my money back.

Just make a new catagory and name it secondary weapon. That's what I did. And also make a catagory for spells while you're at it. Can come in handy. :)

If the potion doesn't heal either MA or HP, then it won't do anything. Are you sure the potion was set to heal either one or the other?

The itemshop and Lesane's Store are already integrated. See the Edit Itemshop Options menu.


The itemshop should refund you the money of the item before taking away money for the new one.

I just tested it and it worked. I had a sword worth $1500 when refunded. I bought a sword for $400. My account when up $1100. What were your numbers?

You can delete the tables, undo the table edits made to the user table and userfield table, undo the template edits, delete the templates from the database, and restore the .php files.

That's the only way to uninstall right now.

Bitsys, is it safe to have 2 itemshops of the same cateogry. Like one for magic attack spells and one for magic healing spells. I will try that instead of putting it into the potions category.

Bitsys, it works now when i use heal magic instead of just items but I can only heal the HP and not the MP so that kinda sux, oh well. Maybe one day out of the blue that problem will get fixed and i won't have tha tprblem no more.

What bugs have you seen?


Spells can't heal MA since they cost MA to use.

bitsys, are we sitll having a summons addon to the hack by any chance?

Darkwaltz4 was the one who was working on that add-on. He has not contacted me and I have not seen any source code, so I assume he hasn't completed it yet or does not plan on completing it.

Well.. yea. And I added a new class. But they keep telling me that whenever they go to update their stats in their profile, it keeps lowering instead of going higher, even when they level up.

Also I have another suggestion. :D Would group battles be possible? Like, there could be teams and stuff, where it would switch off players from both sides as turns and stuff. And like, add on a "Group" (or Clan) thing where you can't just add yourself to, but the leader of the group would add you into it. And in the postbit, where all your other RPG stats are, it'd say something like: "Clan: [Name]" or if you're not apart of one "Clan: None". I think that'd be cool. Because at my boards, we've got tournaments going on, and there's groups. But it'd be better to have all that already in the hack. :D I know my members would have loads of fun with that.

I know you can add a clan-like thing, but it's a real drag that people can add themselves, and if they're not even apart of it, then it's not cool y'know.
And with the classes, it'd be /really/ nice to have an option to make it for a specfic member or for just Admin and not both Mod and Admin. ^^; Cos I don't want Mods to have that class, but I really have no choice. -- Are these hard to add-in?

Bitsys, i think i have a goo suggestion for an addon.If your board has many members, it's hard to find a person that has a battle stat roughly equal to yours. There could be a page where u can search for potential people to battle with that have the same type of stats range as you so that way u don't end the match in one blow or don't get massacred in one blow.

Just on vivi's last idea,
Maybe you could add a search function that you can type in lvl and stuff like that to find someone that matches your tats

Hey, there is a problem with this user's HP. Everytime he gains a level, instead of rising, it drops. That's kinda all I got from him. I'll see if I can find more details about this.

Make sure you have gone ot the Edit Item Type menu and assigned the items an item type.

Yes, the queries are at the bottom of the vbhacker .txt output. Only the userfield table and user table should have been edited.
