Ok I imported the level 1 xml, but when I do the recount I get this error:

"This user's primary usergroup is also listed as a secondary group for this user. Please change the primary group or remove the secondary group."

How do I find out who that is?

Fixed by turning off the vbexperience promotion system, but I am unaware of what internal vb promotion system is being used.

It seems you have promotions activated. Enable it only if you want to change your users primary usergroup based on their experience.

I have Cyb's donation system activated, can I set points for those who donate?

Also, is there a way to restrict Administrators from gaining awards?

Yes. Just check AdminCP/Settings/vBExperience: Points

I will hopefully be releasing a few more addons for this system soon. Right now I am in the hospital so how soon I get some of the ones I have been thinking about making will really depend on how well I can think and how I feel since they are keeping me heavily medicated right the moment.

I would also like to thank Phalynx for adding me as a co-supporter for this modification as me and him have been talking for a bit about it and about ideas and ways to improve apon the modification. So I am sure I will be releasing quite a few addons over the coming weeks as well as helping to contribute to the development of this modification to make sure we make this the best mod of this type ever and hopefully make it the best that will ever be made. :)

Just so everybody knows I will only support people who have the modification marked as installed as I am taking on this extra role to help out with this modification as it has alot of potential and I want to help get it where it could be and I don't have time to support people who don't feel the need to click installed.

I made an award for donators, but is there anyway to set it so anyone who donates gets the award and not just the highest?

Also, is there a way to have it reset the donor award each month?

Great hack, but I had to uninstall it to get some other things done before reinstalling. Now, even after running the uninstaller, removing all the files and re-running the uninstaller, I get this error any time I try to post:

lol that threw me off at first, too. I was trying to figure out how the heck a "posting award" would end up being "fing award" (typo or not lol). anyway, you can go in and manually change the names of the awards to whatever you want. =)

Its actually not to hard to do that if he had the letters post highlighted and hit the f key at some point before he saved without noticing. I have done it before when I was copying any pasting stuff to save time from typing it and I left my computer and had something highlighted and got back and hit a key sitting down and didnt notice till somebody pointed it out to me later.

We use this system as the backbone of our cimmunity.

Due to its complexity, I try not to fiddle with to many settings, for fear of cocking the whole thing up !

My question is this:

I want to create singular awards, that can be assignable to ONE or more individuals, on a ad hoc basis.

Basically:
A user who has won a specific competition, i would want to issue them with a specific award... so on and so forth.

Can we do this, if so, please may I have a step by step example/tutorial.

I am sure its dooable, as this is what this mod is for, but I am sure many many of us who use this, do not know how to actually do it.

I added an item and made it cost 50 experience points, and it says
"Cost: 50 Experience points (you have 6,866)"

I have bought the item 5 times, but it hasn't taken away ANY experience points. I have recounted too.

I enabled the AdminCP -> vBExperience -> General -> Use the promotion system? -> Yes , but I do not see the new options under AdminCP -> Usergroups -> Promotions

Where can I find the new Promotional Options?

This allows placing the awards before or after the username, but I there appears to be no option to place them above or below the username. This would be a nice option for a future release.

Right now it's in beta and has been taken over by someone else to help it go Gold in the near future but I think it would be PERFECT to integrate with this mod. You can base points on "good posts" (view the mod to know what I'm talking about) and you can subtract points for people who have x number of thumbs down.

Please consider this :o
