Try completely uninstalling the product and reinstalling to see if that corrects it for you.

ETDC 08-04-2008 09:48 PM

Thanks again.

I tried adding the extras straight after a default (and tested working) install. Hmm. Strange.

Fraxter 08-05-2008 10:42 PM

For me is the myvideo plugin not working, anyone knows why? I have this installed like the other plugins, and all works well, but only the myvideo plugin not. :(

I hope anybody can help me. :)

Digital Jedi 08-06-2008 04:13 AM

Are you using the definitions from my thread? Because those are the udpated ones.

I really don't understand why Gametrailers.com works, and Gametrailers.com User Movies doesn't. Can somebody take a look inside scripts, maybe will spot some problem ? :)

Digital Jedi 08-06-2008 05:36 AM

GameTrailers is on the list for the next update cycle. Keep an eye on my thread for it.

It should already be centered, unless you turned Contain off.

Where could I switch that on or off? I don't see the option in the AME settings in my admin CP. Thanks for your help!

Contain is a setting found under each individual definition.

OK, got it. I think I might have two conflicting versions installed because I have an AME settings entry under "vBulletin Options" as well as "AME CP" as its own admin CP menu item.

"Contain" is definitely activated, probably being overridden by our stylesheet?

Digital Jedi 08-11-2008 02:52 PM

They're not conflicting, it's just two different ways to get at it, and the vB Options one has a way to exclude embedding by forum ID.

Link me to an example of where the video is not centering and maybe I can spot why.

mykkal 08-13-2008 03:42 AM

This would be great? They have collections of entire seasons of HOT & Good espisodes on television series.

I just finished watching the unit.

Can someone make an XML or a parser for this site so I can just post a link on my forum?

That would be so hot. Probably make AME a more valuable tool as well!

What do we need to modify in code so that YouTube player will also have the "fullscreen" button available (like we see on lots of websites) ?

Thx in advance !

Does this work in 3.72?

skcyber 08-17-2008 10:39 AM

great mod !! :) but ... is there anyway to make this mod work within the socials groups and profile messages ?

ETDC 08-17-2008 03:44 PM

Has anyone got this to play Photobucket videos yet?

Yes, awhile back. Just click the add-on link to the thread with my definitions.

ETDC 08-17-2008 11:06 PM

As I mentioned a while back, I can't get any of the extra plugins to import. :(

That's a problem then, because this product is dependent on definitions. It doesn't do anything without them. Have you tried just opening up the XML file and adding the content manually?

Bexter 08-18-2008 09:36 AM

Saw this was already asked a few months ago but no one replied. Any chance of being able to use this in Social Groups? One of my members has created a social group for "epic" youtube videos.

Digital Jedi 08-18-2008 01:51 PM

It's been asked quite often. Probably why no one answered. The Geek has said there are no plans to extend it beyond the postbit. And so far, no one has attempted to do so, or at the very least, they haven't shared it with us.

Regs 08-18-2008 06:10 PM

A work-around for social groups would be to install the "forums for social groups" modification that can be found elsewhere here.

Works great.

I can't see where to put the code - it's a real mess in there!

Digital Jedi 08-18-2008 09:17 PM

Just open one up and put the code between the brackets [] in each of their respective fields. Although I'd really try to get that import problem looked at, if possible.

ETDC 08-18-2008 10:09 PM

Replace this:

Code:

[CDATA[Extraction Information</phrase>
                        <phrase name="automediaembed_warning" date="1182769889" username="The Geek" version="1.0.0">Warning]]

With this?:

Code:

<AME>

Photobucket (Videos)

Embed Photobucket.com Videos using "Share URL" link!

                <displayorder>1</displayorder>
                <findcode>(http://[\w\d]+\.photobucket\.[\w\.\/%-_?]+)/([\?action\=view]*)([&]*)([current]+)\=([\w\d-.]+\.flv)</findcode>
                <replacecode></replacecode>

No, I don't think your following me. What I'm saying is to create a new definition in your AME CP and copy and paste the information from the XML file definitions into each respective field. Paste the
information into the Title box, <displayorder> in the Display Order box and for the code boxes copy the information in between the brackets.

I'm having trouble with the formatting of this mode... It doesnt follow my TCAT correctly...

TCAT on forum home (the blue bars with teal blue text):

TCAT on the embedded videos:

This is my Container OPEN
Code:

Gah! I can cut and paste the Replacement code ok but I can't make head nor tail of the Regular Expression -

Code:

[CDATA[(http://[\w\d]+\.photobucket\.[\w\.\/%-_?]+)/([\?action\=view]*)([&]*)([current]+)\=([\w\d-.]+\.flv)]]
In between which brackets? :)

The inner brackets.

By the way, be sure to use the Photobucket XML from my thread. The old one does not work anymore.

There's no fix that I know of. I use a replacement variable for the more common ones.

I've notice that with most styles I've designed that links in the postbit will always follow the CSS definition for the postbit, usually alt1 or alt2. To change this, you'd have to change the link CSS for those classes.

Why is this? The CSS for TCAT does have its own link CSS settings, and the row is defined as TCAT, why is it following the link CSS for ALT1 instead? (meanwhile, it is following the background CSS for TCAT as it should)

Not sure really. I've not had a chance to research it thoroughly.
