You need to download the latest version and upload the files again. Then import the product_goldbrick.xml.
Don't forget to click install here so you can receive news about updates. |

Hi,
I just installed Goldbrick (not any media) and I get the following error Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ')' in /forum/goldbrick/plugins/bbcode_create.php on line 53 Can you help? |
just installed any media now and I get the same thing. If I disable the goldbrock plug in, I can see the post with the tags (just the link, not the video.
|
Goldbrick is PHP 5 only.

Hello to all,
Since 2 days, I am trying to install Anymedia 3.1b3 on a vBulletin 3.5.1 running under PHP Version 4.4.4 For many reasons that will be too long to explain, I cannot upload to a newer vB version and my hosting company do not plan to move to PHP5 before mid 2008. So, I installed Anymedia 3.1b3 on my current platform... First I was really disapointed to not find any basic install instructions. I read today the 90 pages of this forum to learn that I have to set usergroups and forums permissions. According other things I read, I think I have templates to edit ... wicht templates ? wich replacements ? I don't know... So Anymedia seems to work partially on my website : I can manually (I do not have the M tag in the editor) enter from direct links for .avi, .wmv, .asx and it correctely launch the player and play the video. Pict 1 Attachment 74305 Regarding YouTube, it does not play the video but only show a thumbail and ask for upgrade flashplayer2. Pict 2 Attachment 74306 So, I am sure that I miss info to install correctely this product. 1) I would like to have instructions to have the M tag on the editor to direct paste video URLs, please 2) I would like to solve the problem with YouTube flashplayer .... Many thanks in advance for help. |
Download anymedia for 3.5. Same install instructions. I'm not supporting this version of anymedia anymore.

http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/import_product that's how to install a product. You don't need the xml file on the server. Is the product enabled? Just because you posted a link to the thread really don't help me to help you. |

Regarding the other point "upgrade flashplayer2" I do not ask for support, but simply something like friendly help :erm: May be there are specific versions off flvplayer to use ... many thanks in advance for the help. |
That means you don't have javascript enabled in your browser or you used the quick reply. Just refresh the page.

Did you upload the 1.2 files?
|
Uninstall Anymedia.
If that doesn't work you can PM me a link to your site with a temp admin and I'll take a look. |
<font size="1">Goldbrick Version 1.3:
- Fixed Images - Fixed MP3's - Fixed Myspace, now supports myspacetv.com - Added Increase or decrease video size for the classic player (testebr gets the credit for this one) - Added ESPN videos - Added Veoh video site.</font> |
Yes. I uploaded Goldbrick 1.2.
I will try again with 1.3. :) Thanks. |
I tried with 1.3.
Works good. But I get blank window. See my attached image(File name:111). This test just only Goldbrick 1.3.(disabled Anymedia) * Test with Anymedia. Works good. I can play Youtube. But lightbox is off.(Gray screen is off) See my attached image(File name:222). Is this normal? What is my problem? Do I need Anymedia for Goldbrick? I mean do I must install Anymedia for Goldbrick? Thanks for your reply. :) |
You can't have both. Pick one. Goldbrick is an updated version of anymedia.
|
I found what is problem.
The problem caused by FireFOX on MAC. No problem with Safari on MAC. Really thanks for your quick reply. :) |
