I gather you mean that this https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=226946 is no longer working as expected?

I'll update my test site and look into it.

Is there an auto mobile detection product anywhere for this?

mask31 08-16-2010 01:45 PM

yep can't install xml file with 4.0.6

Have you selected to ignore style version when importing?

Yes it is no longer detecting mobile software and users are just being placed with the default theme.

Getting "Invalid File Specified" when attempting to upgrade. vB is v. 4.0.3PL1

*edit*
Also getting the same error on my dev site, which is 4.0.6

And options were set to override.

I tested this, (Install style on vBulletin 4.0.6) and can not reproduce the error. Install went smoothly.

However, if I try to import this STYLE as a PRODUCT, I do get the exact error you describe.

haha wow. Yeah that'd be me not thinking, some reason I kept reading this as the options plugin not the style itself :)

Thanks for pointing out my massive brain fart :)

I tested this under 4.0.6 with Nokia, PocketPC/PDA and iPhone - all detect as expected. Check your other settings.
