0.9.9 (07-25-01)

says the latest release but when you dled the file it is 0.9.8 any ideas or did you forget to change that? seems the same as old version 0.9.8

im getting this error when you try to view one of my members stocks page.


Its weird because I can vew other members profile pages with no errors except for this one. I am running vB3.7.0 Beta3 but everything else works from the mod so I cant think its becuase of that.


Any Ideas from anyone?

I wouldn't expect any support from the author...it's a promising hack, and it's unfortunate he's dropped support from it.

Still...it works well on my board. I'd like that comments system Lionel figured out though...that looks like good stuff.

Can you use this to sell stocks of your own forum? Or is it only based on true stocks?

can you sell stocks that you dont currently have? that would be great and more rallistic

one more thing can the portfolio get the ability to put a link , so when you click the stock youll get the chart? if possible a link choosen by the admin, so youll use your own charting script or a yahoo link

A Major issue here...is if you say you have 100$ ..and you buy US stock scripts...woth 30$, and then you buy Indian or other stocks (it actually lets you outside the US market) ... you actually pay 10$ for a 10 Rupee (25 cents)...is there a way to stop certain stocks or work out a conversion rate for intl stocks or something...

What that means is even though your supposed to be paying 25 cents (10 rupees) per indian share...it takes it as 10$... I wouldnt mind paying someone to help me update and modify the script to serve purpose. Anyone interested let me know :)

I have looked through here trying to see if anyone else has found this bug but i don't see it. if i have missed it please accept my apology for posting it again.. Anyway, one of my members found a bug for selling stocks.

if you sell 1 more stock then you have and put a + sign at the beginning and the end, it will give you the money but not sell your stock.

example, i have 1000 stocks of GE valued at 1.00 each. If i go in and put +1001+ and sell them, it will give me $1000.00 but my stocks do not sell.. So someone could cash out all day long on this and it would be very hard to figure out.

Wasn't sure if there was a fix for this, and if not i just wanted to let you know about it.
