I was wondering how you could have the forum display at the bottom of vBHome Lite like this...

Can this hack be used on version 2.3.0?
|

Did you follow all the steps listed in the instructions? Did you need to make any changes?
|

Fatal error: Failed opening required './/home/httpd/vhosts/clioclub.com.mx/httpdocs/foro/admin/config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /home/httpd/vhosts/clioclub.com.mx/httpdocs/global.php on line 745 here is the message notice the folder is foro not forum (jn spanish....) any hints where is the missing file? |
One quick question My images are not woerking and I guess my replacements URL is bad any hints?

I think I've fully understood the install instructions for the hack, but I've a little problem that I'm not able to solve reading this thread...I've done quiet a bit of searching, but can't find problem situations 100% similar to mine.
I have vBulletin installed in a directory "forum" in my root web directory; on my Apache web server, that will be /var/www/html/forum. As far as I can see, vbHome must have it's index.php and global.php in the root directory, above the forum directory. However, in the root directory I already have a index.php and a global.php, that belongs to another site I'm running - I can't just overwrite these. Any idea how to implement vbHome under these circumstances? -- Di@ |
Change the vbHL index.php and global.php to home.php and homeglobal.php
Make sure you replace the global.php references to homeglobal.php, everywhere in vbHL files. It will solve your problems. |

I haven't installed the hack yet. My main concerns is that we have to put the global.php and index.php files in the root. We're using a global.php3 file in the admin directory. There's also a global.php in there that isn't used. If i put these files in the root will they be seen. Also in step 3 we have to change the default admin path. I'm not sure what to change it to. Step 4 requires a replacement set. What values go in the replacement set itself and for the other 2 do i enter the values as shown. I'm trying to understand each portion of these instructions so i don't bring the board to it's knees! |
