Every single thing works except for the url. I know I've properly placed all files, but the url; www.mysite.com/forum/casino.php just doesn't work. Could it be a problem with the index.html/php file or what? I'm just getting a white screen (which is better than before) Also, can I use my existing vbcredits as my money system? |
you can use Vb credits as i use it..Glad to see you got it somewhat fixed

You do have index PHP File 3 KB still located in your casino folder correct? This could be missing and without deleting your temporary internet files you may still be able to connect to it. All usergroups can view casino/index so it is not a permissions setting. The fact that the url works for you but does not copy / paste sounds like some kind of gypsy curse. At the risk of giving bad advice I'll have to let someone more knowledgeable field that one...sorry.
I use the Casino Cash System so I am not familiar with changing the Cash System to VB Credits but Andrews instructions seem pretty easy to follow for us code-challenged folks regarding that. :D Integrating with other cash systems This is fairly simple to do, you just need to change the cash type field under "Casino Settings" in the admincp. * VB Plaza - Change to "vbbux" * iCash - Change to "Money" * VB Credits - Change to "Credits" (You should also set the cash bonuses to 0 or dissable the plugins for those as they will get duplicated) To remove the "Casino Cash" field from the admincp dissable the plugin named "Casino admin cash" Thanks for the kind words. When you get this install finally hammered out you will probably know it better than any of us. Knowing how to install the mod is great, but knowing how to solve problems generated from errors in previous install attempts is valuable knowledge on this thread. Cheers :) |
Excellent. Ok, I have the index.php file in the Casino folder, but when I drag the Casino folder into remote, it doesn't create a new folder, just kind of plops all the files into the forum section. And index.php 3kb doesn't cross over.
I already have one file named index.php 19kb, but I guess that's for something else. Is there anyway I can append the index.php 3kb file and still make it work? |
Nice job man! This shii rocks..:p

Mother of ++++ing pearl, it works :D:D:D:D
Not sure exactly what I did to fix it, but I figured "eh, why not go back and re-upload everything" and it works.....for now >_> Thanks so much to everyone who helped me, I am in your debt. |
plazzman:
Don't drag the casino folder into remote as it should already exist there or your casino would not function at all. Just drag the file: index PHP File 3 KB from casino local into casino remote. If it asks to overwrite the existing file click yes and try your url again. I don't have a file named index.PHP 19 KB in my remote casino folder. I would copy that file to your desktop, delete it from your remote casino folder and replace it with the 3 KB file. You and I are running the same version of vb and that seems to be the only difference in our files. Make sure you save the 19 KB file just in case I am giving horrible advice. ;) |
Party on plazzman...congrats!

Thanks so much! This already looks amazing. The members on my forum treat gambling like a crack addiction. You should have seen what they did when I installed vBookie. I really appreciate your guys' support!
