Same question here. For the past few realeases, the upgrade instructions say "NOTE: You will be happy know that NO templates have been updated from v1.5.0 to v1.5.2!".

What if I am upgrading from 1.5.5, Are there any template changes? I think there should be a history that lists what release included what template changes, so users upgrading from differnet versions know what to do.

Indeed, im goanne hold out from upgrading atm untill some more info about this upgrade is given. i cannot risk it at all to break something on my forum

I can confirm there are no template changes from 55 to 56.

Besides, if there were, he would say so. Additionally, you can check the templates yourself, if you're that concerned. jesus

In the last install 1.55 it was noted above

So if anyone did change anything and made a mess of their
install what would they do?

Its really easy to add a simple "No Template changes in this update"

A few months ago I would have not had a clue on anything.

If they cannot understand what needs changing and what does not need changing then we would be stuck ;)

I know there are a few hacks on vb.org that are being changed all the time and there is no info on how to update from other versions which I installed a while ago now I have given up on updating them because I don't know what needs changing or updating.

Anyway thanks for clearing that up lol;)

I totally agree. if you want to search this cluster++++ of a thread, you'll see I've asked for version numbers to be matched up with template changes. it seems to fall on deaf ears. But in reality, it isn't that hard to check yourself...

Tried to install this on a vb3.6 test board and got this error when uploading the product:

So those considering upgrading to the 3.6 beta may want to hold off for now. I'll see how it works on board that was upgraded from 3.5 to 3.6 with this already installed, in a few.

This appears at the top of the store on a 3.6 upgraded version.
