Let me rephrase this for you: You are not satisfied and have given up, not most of people, you cannot speak on behalf of people since you are not on that position yet.

Sportbikeworld, what it's bad for you might be ok to others.
You are entitled to your own personal opinions to say them, here on the forums, loud and clear, I respect this. But why you are the only guy complaining about a non-working site link? Why "most of people" don't? It's weird...
If you are not satisfied with the way we market our product, when it will be released, feel free not to buy it, nobody it's forcing you to use it. The Net is full of reliable software and I'm sure you will find something much better them our "vaporware".

I'm currently working on the retail script, at my own pace.
I will also have the cpublisher.com site up and running once the new product is in beta stage.
Until then, I will not open a site with a "comming soon" message, it's useless.

People, who use the cpublisher.com link, will have to wait until the product is in beta stage, before they can see it online. The others can simply choose one of the other portals available here at VB.org site, or on the net.
Also, there will be no screenshots, etc. about the new software, due to previous bad experiences.
I only posted an installer screenshot for people.

Interesting..when i look at the bottom of this page it appears to be the same version I just installed. Am I missing something here? If i look at the home page of vbulletin.org it APPEARS to be pulling in content from the board..so I assumed the home page of this site was written with vbhome..Guess I will just wait for the release from TECK or vbportal..

Just installed VbHome. Links in the index.php do not work and are trying to point to root directory instead of the actual forum directory. Also, how do you customize the index.php page. I see many other sites that have two or three columns of info from their forum. How do I do all of this.

Thanks in advance.

Man, this vbHome is driving me nuts! It's anything but a simple install. I'd love to get it working, but I'm about to give up.

TurboFC3S 10-17-2003 06:52 PM

Hey Teck, do you do consulting at all? Would you be willing to in order to have your vbHome up and running on a huge site with over 2 million posts?

X-Sector 10-17-2003 09:38 PM
