How do you install a hack?

I have

*.gif
*.swf
*.fla

I know where to put the *.gif and *.swf files, but
never seen the *.fla before, where does this go?

I have no idea - maybe it also goes in the games dir?

This is kind of like House of the Dead... Decent Zombie Shooter but you can only go upto 5,000 pts. Perhaps some changes can be made.

HVACR... if you read the posts around here a FLA is the ORIGINAL UNCOMPRESSED SWF file. You open a FLA file in FlashMX and you can edit all the properties. A SWF file is what a FLA file is after it has been exported. You dont do anything with FLA files unless you want to make changes to the game.

I have installed pong and a few other games all work fine I tried to install the Blackjack and pokerx gmae updating the poker x with the poker.swf file. Both games are in games folder added the haah at 5 like was told and used the correct score var. and when i try to load gave i get white page where game should be. Game never loads and ideas both blackjack and poker are this way please help.

Also, Can anyone tell me where to look in a FLASH FLA file to EDIT a flash to make it compatible... I have Flash MX but i dont have the slightest idea where to look.

I posted instructions on how to modify fla files with flash MX several pages back in this thread. Search this thread for the word "tutorial" and you should find it.

As for the James Bond game.. You need the Authors permission and the fla file to make it work with the arcade.

they all work if i copy the address from the source of the page and paste it in the address bar, just not when on the page :S

Ok , who's up for stepping up to the plate with me on this one and getting it where games with the submit button can auto-pay integrate with Lesane's store ? I released a hack a while back that will auto-pay for correct answers in a trivia quiz, and I think the same code principle will work in these games like blackjack , poker and slots. Lets work together and get this done , too many people have wanted this feature , let's implement it!

you've just got your file paths screwed up somewhere and for someone to be able to fix that , they would have to know what you have input into those fields.

the paths are fine, as i sed, if i goto view source, then copy the addr and paste it into the address bar - it works

ok well let me put it another way , you've got to be more specefic about your problem because most people won't reply or won't sit there and play 20 questions to figure out exactly where you're having trouble. The more info you supply , then the faster you'll be able to get it fixed , what browser type are you using for starters ?

then in the config section instead of /games/ put games/

thats, "games/" (note the forward slash thats not before games :) )

Im looking for the FLA right now for it, But that Penguin game would need ALOT more than the limit it has now. The max you can get is only like 325.

You can go over 1,000 with it. Its a hacked version of the original. If someone releases something freely with NO binding agreements why do most of you ask for permission? Most of the time the creator is pretty anonymous. Or you have hundreds of people LIEING that they made something. I never understood that about alot of these games that could be made.. lol

Not saying that asking for permissions SHOULDNT be done, but most of the time the original creator "doesnt" exist. heh

As I said, if someone sends it to me, I'm all for modifying it.

Yes. But i got it from another person and due to this i do not have the FLA file. But it works with the game hack.

i have searched for the FLA file to modify it but i didn't find it yet. There is one russian site where someone has modified the original file. So this guy should have the FLA file.

I have emailed the original author from http://www.e-medien.com and the russian guy. Let's see what happens.
