I have version 4.2 of vBulletin.
I installed the files in the folder YaAS-4.0.4.zip.
I can see all the panels to change the CP but not display anything on the forum. Can you help me?

If you mean there's no tab on your forums then yes you need to add one manually using the navigation manager.

I gave a Bronze medal, but should be a silver one, how to change, or how do i even delete a given award?

You'll need to remove the bronze and give the silver.

To remove a medal in acp go to Award System -> Award Manager -> Give Award to User and at the bottom select the user to remove the award from.

I deleted all files and uninstalled and reinstalled and I still get these errors.. any help?

Just installed the mod today, seems to be working smoothly except for the automation.

Does the automation only auto approve requests or will it also send out the awards? Also when I set an award to be sent to a certain usergroup will it also send to people in that secondary usergroup?

@holomachus - The deprecation messages are just warning and can be safely ignored, they are just related to which version of php you are running and how it wants code written as opposed to how it used to want code written.

@Monstercat - automation does not auto approve requests that has to be done manually, it only assigns awards based on criteria chosen when setting up an automation job, also yes automation will give the award to people who have the group as a secondary membergroup

I've been meaning to report this for a while.

It's nothing major, but I noticed that when you edit a post with Quick Edit (which most users do) instead of going into the advanced editor, when you click Save, the showcase disappears from the postbit user information area.

Why is there a new & an old XML in the zip?
Also there is a folder inside a folder correct.? (Yaas 4.0.4 inside of Yaas 4.0.4)

Then the READ ME says nothing about any of that, & this is what you get for directions. lol

It's a vbulletin issue as the template hooks do not exist when the post is edited using quick edit.

You can safely ignore the old XML file. The folder inside the folder is just how you're extracting the zip by telling it to extract to a yaas 4.0.4 folder.

If you're moving your forum from one server to another you take a backup of the db and a copy of the forum folder. Restore the db on the new server and upload your copy of forum folder, there should be no installation of either forum or any plugin.

Try to store the CSS as files
admincp >> Settings >> Options >> Style & Language Settings >> Store CSS Stylesheets as Files? (Select "YES")

Results:
The <legend> is not working in postbit style
The default postbit style will be as same as (Style 2) where (Style 1) is not working. (There is no <legend>)

Hello, How the point system works. There is points showing but its not increasing

I just recently took over the modification, but I'm not sure the points system actually works. One of my goals, not short term, is to have a look at the points system and make any required changes to it to make it work better than it does now.

When I went to give an award to someone a while ago, it said no matches were found for that query. I went with their user ID instead, and nothing related to the medals was showing except for the Admin CP stuff, but it worked.

However, now the listing is out of order. Cloud should be below TK:

Yes, it's fine. :)

The vb3 version doesn't have a known exploit, denoted by the fact the mod isn't in the graveyard and is still downloadable here. The vb4 version, prior to yaas 4.0.4, had an exploit which I patched in the 4.0.4 version.

Its a cron job which is set to run once every hour, so after a user meets the requirement it might take up to an hour for the award to be granted.

Its how it was coded since the query to get the users who currently have the award is not ordered, any perceived ordering of results from a query without an ORDER BY is purely arbitrary.

By arbitrary, do you mean that most of them being in date and time order is a coincidence? How about the no matches error, though, and the partially blank page when using the ID?

Yes. As for the no matches its likely the user just has some characters that aren't being displayed on screen in their username.

If you wanted it by date order you'd need to add ORDER BY <datefield> to the query.

In your scheduled tasks change the details of the awards task as needed. The more often you run a cron job the greater the resources used by the forum.

So why is it handing out awards every hour for post count.?
Isn't it going to check if they have the award.?

People will have hundreds of the same award by the end of the week. lol

Our owner is the server expert, so that's why I'm asking. I just know how to take backups, LOL!

It shouldn't be, it checks every hour for those who meet the criteria (i.e. have the requisite number of posts) but do not have the award and then grants it.

It requires changing one of the file uploaded to the server, it shouldn't actually be too complicated if someone knows what they're doing.
