How do i link a users Blog into the Postbit_legacy??
I see how you link the whole profile, but can you also just link the Blog??

I just wonder if it requires sth in the server setting for the upload image or custom style? I has installed successfully but don't know why can't use upload image function or edit custom style.

I see it make new folder to store file but the file have not been there. So what is the wrong? Chmod, server setting or code?

Our server using php5 with safe mode on...

I really can't give the detailed explanation as to why (I am not an engineer), but Zoints Local does not function properly when SafeMode is enabled. You can try opening a ticket with us, but I feel any problems you have is likely going to be related to that.

Just to let you and anyone else curious know, the engineers told me that they replaced all short tags with full tags for the new release.

Could you try going through the install process (or that link) again while logged into your default Admin account?

Another possibility is that you are installing at http://yourforum.com but are logged into http://www.yourforum.com, which the cookie treats as separate websites unless you have a 301 redirect install. So log into both the www. and the non-www. for your forum and try again.

My users will receive a network join request and approve to put themin their network and then they do not get added any suggestions ?

This is an issue that some forums seem to have for some reason. For instance, I've done over 20 or so requests as of late on my forum and have encountered it. But if you could open up a support ticket with us at http://zoints.com/support.z the engineers can take a look at your forum. I am not suggesting they will solve it, but any information they can gather will help solve it in the end.

Hey does any one know how this hack works on big sites ? How much queries and resources it eats ? because i always have issues like these with my server. So i am picky when it comes to install such big mods.

I am seeing if I can get any specific numbers for (if they exist), but speaking from my personal experience, our dedicated server performs the same for us whether it's enabled or not. One of the other team members, a guy who has his background in databases, said that the large forum he helped to manage was not affected by Zoints Local at all.

You could always install it, do not install the product (thus not 'connecting' the two entities being ZL and the forum for the members) and provided some trusted mods or fellow site admins with the ZL link to see if you can detect any changes due to their usage.

Okay, none of the sites you have as examples do not show the Zoints when I click on profiles. I'd like to see how it goes on a site actually using it. Who is using this that has an active forum and can give me a link so I can see how it works?

Okay, I see how it works now. You go to view your profile then click on full profile then you can make changes.

Is there a way to make that one the default profile and have people choose to go back to the other?

Nah right now there's only 3 options

1. Redirect Everyone
2. Allowing mod and above to access default profile
3. Allow everyone to see old profile

Yep. Outside of a bug with the My Media block, which has been corrected recently and should make the upcoming beta build, everything with the AJAX works as is on IE 7.

I haven't seen that EXACT problem, but I am pretty sure it's related to the server change. Could you please try opening in your FTP program /z/includes/localsettings.php? Search for $config['forum path'] = (it's right at the top basically) and make sure the correct path is there. With the server move, you need to do this manually so I am hoping that will clear up the problem.

If that doesn't work, please open up a support ticket as my support today will be a bit limited due to the holiday.

still having problems with mine. The profiles give this message saying i dont have permissions to view and i'm the admin.

I know you've had a few problems Mrdby. Please open up a ticket and with a temporary admin account provided and ftp account and I will try what I know to fix it, if I can't, I'll send it on to the engineers.

I installed this mod several months ago and have had no trouble until today when users started getting this error when attempting to edit a module:

Hey everyone, I'd just liek to apologize for being a bit slow to respond. My life has been REALLY hectic as of late and will likely remain that way for a bit. I will however do my best to respond as much as I can.

I've honestly never heard of that problem Duck. It sounds strange that it was working for you and then all of a sudden stopped working. Do you know if there has been any changes to the .htaccess file or even to the server and it's setup at all?

My mod rewrite ability is not the greatest, but I will try to search around and if I do find anything, I will let you know.

I just tried it again a few minutes ago, and low and behold it's working again! I'm waiting to confirm with a few more users, but it looks like all is well again.

I removed zoints by just removing the product, but realized that all the DB tables remain. I found your link for uninstall instructions but now that the product is removed it just gives me and erroris it safe to just delete all the zoints tables in phpmyadmin?

It's been awhile since I've uninstalled from someone, but you weren't presented with an option to remove the DB tables?

Anywho, before giving you my view on what to do, I'll ask the engineers just so I am 100% sure for you.
