if your licence is up to date you can download it for yourself, or better still download the newest version that has fixes for many known issues

Kuimera 07-24-2006 04:14 AM

Any one knows if this works with 3.6 ?

tako 07-24-2006 05:23 AM

I suppose that a list of files will appear in some cases but don?t know which
Any one knows?

the checkboxs are for copy/download buttons, when you click the button,
it will only copy/download the selected ones (except for the 'check all' one).

you'd better to post more than one emule links with anymedia tag,
such as

Code:

[media]
ed2k://XXXXXXXXXXX
ed2k://YYYYYYYYYYY
[/media]

and you will see a table with 2 emule links,
then try the copy/download buttons and 'check all' checkbox.

stop at half of the video?
i didn't hear of this bug before,
maybe the new anymedia player will fix this.
the new skinable AnyMedia Flv Player is done yesterday,
and i think it fixes the bug of blank screen.

Keep in mnd that all files ARE on my server. Also I have added a :[vid] tag which DOES play them fine.Problem is that it isn't as good looking as yours...lol.

I'm using with Maxthon (1.5.6)
and it's working for me.

what's the content of [vid] tag?

Thanks, doug

yes, the new version can both run well with 3.5 & 3.6

google video will come back with it

I think is really nice and usefull mod, I think you know how to do this, otherwhise contact me. are just 3-4 lines of code.

Great Mod.

I'm thinking to add this function,
member could define the title with giving a option to the tag,
otherwise anymedia will fetch the title from the id3 info.

1- when you click on the AnyMedia button
http://www.hostingimages.org/pub/3306/mode1.gif
its like when you click on "Insert Url" button.

2- insert title for the video, with another popup or like the "insert url" where a part of the code is selected for edit

first method
http://www.hostingimages.org/pub/3307/mode21.gif

second method
http://www.hostingimages.org/pub/3308/mode22.gif

any idea for this mod?

my opinion is to popup a panel,
which users could set each option of the anymedia on it.

of course it could not prevent the XSS security issue,
you could disable swf.

but flvplayer.swf is provided by your server itself,
i think it's more safe.

google has changed its way to store the videos,
if 3.0.4 cannot play it ,
2.0.3 cannot as well.

so just wait for the next version.

I got youtube and flash to work just by defining a BBcode. Obviously it has very little security to it so this is much betther :D

A question though:
Can I define a new media extension ?

I want to render some html pages inside posts, specifically, when I quote from Wikipedia or my Wiki I don't want just a link, I want the HTML from the page. Sounds like something I could do just by adding another media type for html

PS: To get clean wiki html just add ?printable=yes to any wiki link like the one below

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_X

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_F...?printable=yes

you wanna use AnyMedia to fetch the content about the keyword from wiki?
of just frame it inside your post?

Fetch the content, given a wiki keyword (same as giving the url as all pages start with the same url base) This way it is secure, not allowing just ny site to be browsed and rendered...

Thanks Christ, that?s what I was thinking that would happen
But when I try this
Code:

[media]
ed2k://XXXXXXXXXXX
ed2k://YYYYYYYYYYY
[/media]

I get >> Error: unsupported media type.
And if I do this
Code:

[media]ed2k://XXXXXXXXXXX
ed2k://YYYYYYYYYYY[/media]

Or this
Code:

[media]ed2k://XXXXXXXXXXX ed2k://YYYYYYYYYYY[/media]
It works, but only shows the first link
I tried distinct emule links and get the same, don?t know what?s happening ????

Anyway thanks again for your work

Youtube has stopped working for me, which is where I get 90% of my links.

DementedMindz 07-27-2006 03:33 PM

yeah this mod needs to be updated but i dont think we will see one anytime soon

I think I saw something upthread about it... Set Youtube to use Anymedia's player is the solution

If not, see the BBCode I set above. It works fine w/ youtube, but it allows ANY flash script to be played, which is not secure...

Works fine here.

almukmin 07-27-2006 11:24 PM

It's that thing infront of the file name, just change it to full URL.

thats my problem too im about to remove this.. i figured he would have updated it already but all he keeps saying is that he will update it  another thing is dont update your post cache it will screw all your videos up

nix 07-28-2006 02:00 AM

OIC. Yea I use FF so didn't know about the IE bug.

DementedMindz 07-28-2006 02:34 AM

yeah i use firefox alot to but i went on to test my site out and poof i had to disable his media player basiclly in order to get them to play and use the stock youtube and google... which sucks cause then there truely is no point of this hack when you could just do a bbcode... i guess if he ever updates it then it may be better but hes been saying he would update so lets hope? Crist when do you suppose this maybe updated?

phkk 07-28-2006 11:58 PM

Can you release new update Chris :-)

okay,
it's as the same as anymedia,
and anymedia solves the 'Activating Active Content' issue.

DementedMindz 07-29-2006 11:01 AM

Crist do you plan on updating this? just seems like when ever someone ask you blow it off...

it's not hard,
but the content of a keyword may too much to display,
how to determine what part of it to be fetched?

I'll have a try on my server later.

the new update won't be released until it passed the test.
