How does one get the lottery to work?? Every time I create on it says Sorry, but you cannot buy that many drawing tickets.

The idea is to allow everyone to buy one ticket but for some reason this wont work!

I would have to see what your settings are for the raffle and for the raffle system itself.

By default, each member is allowed one entry.

Also, how are you "selling" tickets? Usually if you've set a cost and you don't have the amount required in the type of credit system you're using... that is when you would get that message.

In other words, if your vBCredits account has 10 points and you've set the cost of a ticket to 100 points... you would never be able to purchase a ticket until you reached 100 points in your vBCredits account.

Works great on vB 4.1.7 and with a template installed. Marked.

I got it working however I cant seem to make it so people can only buy one ticket per lottery. I can go into the usergroups and say -1 to allow unlimited tickets or 1 for 1 ticket, but if I have multiple Raffles going on they cant buy another ticket.

There should be a way in the raffle to say limit # of tickets for this raffle.

I'm not sure why you're having these problems. It's really very simple...

For each raffle...

Set Maximum User Entries Permitted to 1
Set Time Between Entries to 0
Set Entries in Time Period to 1

Those are the default settings and they allow each member one entry per raffle.

Are you sure you're using the raffle system? I'm asking because there are NO settings for the number of tickets that can be set by usergroup and it shows that you haven't downloaded the raffle system from here and you haven't marked it as installed.

If you are still having problems, please post screenshots of your raffle settings screen and of one of the raffles you're trying to create and are having problems with.

would it be possible to have it so that the raffle would be drawn once a set amount of tickets have been sold instead of setting a date to end the draw?..

I'm currently testing your Raffles system on my test site running VBCMS 4.1.5 (will be updating to 4.1.7 soon) and everything seems to work as it should.

The only issue I have is.... I want to sell raffle tickets using PayPal and Direct Deposit/Bank Transfer.
I know you've integrated AW Coding's Credit Purchase system, both Lite & Pro but....

1. Lite doesn't use PayPal's IPN.
2. Neither Lite or Pro allow for Direct Deposit/Bank Transfer.

A couple of questions..

I use MicroCART Shopping System (purchased version), do you know of any way to integrate/sell raffle tickets through MicroCART?

or, would it be possible for you to add a payment system to vBulletin Raffles either as a paid Add-on, like your other add-ons or as an individual paid job?
