Ok, here is a better description of the issue. If the user in question is not in the groups in the [SHOWTOGROUPS=xxx], they can see part of the hidden post if they do the following:

1. Look at a user's public profile who can see the post

2. Click on "Find all posts by user"

When the results of this are displayed a little preview of the post is displayed, and it is here in this preview that you can see part of the hidden post.

I have gone through the update and carefully done every single change exactly as dictated in the instructions, but this is still an issue for me. I am wondering if there is a place in the code of vB that is not part of the changes here, or if am over-looking something.

I have installed the free version, and still cant get it to work properly.........
I will buy the expanded, but not if I cant get the free to work..........

The correct syntax is:
[HIDE=10]"Pass:Maidenrulz"[/HIDE]

Where 10 is posts required.
