Installed it today on a test server on v2.3.2 ..all is VERY well :) ..thanks TECK...have the following question if its cool:
- I have added a few menu/nav buttons in the CP header code of the forum, how do i mirror these for the vBHome index page ? - How do i configure the colours etc for the vBHome index page/header and footer areas ? I have read TECK say its in the cp.css file but i cant change the text colour ... - If i have a picture in an article post, is there a way to have the image aligned left, and have the text continue to the right of it....or do we have to have an image, and then lots of vacant horizontal space and then the text ? Thats about it for now :) Cant wait for cpublisher, but guess ill have to :p Cheers Paul |

Hey everyone. I'm having one hell of a problem getting my 'login' to work with this hack.
Whenever I try to login from my homepage, it takes me to my forum homepage. When I return to my homepage, it always says 'Welcome, Visitor.' and never displays login information. Can anyone help me with this problem? I've tried for days and nothing's worked. I run VB 2.3.2 and installed this hack (version 4.2) clean (not an upgrade). Thanks a ton!! http://www.communityhack.net |
new wishlist item ;)
Is it possible to have vbhome support 'sticky threads' ?? ie: if i make a post sticky, will it stay at the top of the order on the vbhome page ?? Cheers again Paul |
unable to have users post replies/comments
they are able to go through the motions, and it adds to thier post count, but nothing shows in the news forums. only admins and moderators have been able to reply, even when i set "registered" users to be able to post and reply, etc etc in forum permission settings. using vbulletin 2.3.2, thanks. |
okay, figured that one out.. helps if the forum isn't moderated. :P
this one's the PIMA now... the template header has a miscoded URL that's not duplicated elsewhere in the script.... or something.. http://www.clubprotege.com/index.php... obvoiusly, as you can see, it's all up and running... in the source code for the page, you find } .bgheader { background-image: url('http://www.clubprotege.com/forum//forum/images/menu_background.gif'); text-align: left; vertical-align: top; } I OBVIOUSLY botched a replacement somewhere... i know i set forums home as http://www.clubprotege.com/forum/ i know i set imagehome as /forum/images/ hence the problem. but where do i got to fix both of these? i looked in replacements, but when i change /forum/images/ to just /images i lose the buttons.... i suppose it's a conflict between the two. any guesses? |
