Does anyone know how to extract and export the form database contents to something like an Excel spreadsheet?

I am so sorry to bother you again. The thing works in the thread title but it does not show the correct value in the thread. It will shows the option's number instead of showing the option's value.

EDIT: It's types 3, 4 and 5. These three are Radio Buttons, Checkboxes and Dropdowns. These won't display their option values we set in the question maker but intead will show the option's numbers. This happens only inside the thread. In the thread title, it works just fine.

For example, if you have 3 options in a dropdown/radio button/checkboxes, it will show you "3" instead of showing you the last option's value you set. I don't know if this is a bug or not. Am I the only one having this problem? I am on 3.8.2 still.

Nope there is no xls export function.

However if you go to the Form Results Table view and then highlight the whole table from form title right to last row then you should be able to paste it into a blank excel document. That will include links and text colours, etc.

(Tested with Microsoft Excel 2007 )

In the custom output are you using $qo[4]?

It would be great if specific styles can be forced on certain forms so that they always display in one style only. Right now im using htaccess with styleid to do this, but the problem with it is that it also changes the forum style to the form style and its very hard to return it to what i normally use.

Hi,

Can someone check out my form and let me know how to fix an issue I am having. I am using a form for a plant naming registry and have used the Section entry to to place dividing points. When I use a section and follow it by a single line text field question, the question name is inserted right next to the Section title without a space or anything. I would like the next question to be on the next LINE, the way the other questions show up... It is easier to show the results than explain I think.

The text "Cultivar Information" is the section entry, and the text "Cultivar Name" is the single line text entry that follows. You can see that they end up on the same line and I don't know how to fix it. I apologize if this should be an obvious answer, but I am not the most skilled at this stuff.

I used this, it worked at first then for no reason it stopped working. And keeps telling me a choice has'nt been selected and saying this field is compulsory.

My form is creats thread in specific forum. And i have Cyb - Advanced Forum Rules installed.
How i can do, thats form, before creating new thread, will check - is user accepted rules on specific forum or not ?

Help me please..

You can set usergroup permission to view/submit forms for each form when editing form.

I'm not familiar with that mod, you'll have to ask the mod author how to integrate it.

If you wish people to be able to select 'no prefix' then you'll have to turn off compulsory question

Add \r\n at the end of Section bbcode
\r\n is equivalent of new line so if you add it twice then you'll get two line break.

You've read my question wrong or I explained it badly eitherway, I want them to select it and it is compulsory. But even when you do select a prefix it is saying that you did not, this happens whether I make it required or not in the forum settings.

Top of image is the unsubmitted form, bottom is what happens once I press submit.

Hey bananalive, I have a question. I am using a form for a trade manager. User A fills out the form and has the field to put User B which is the person they are trading with. I know that I can have the form PM'd to User A but I'd also like to be able to have it PM'd to User B that was entered into the form field. Is that a possiblity? Thanks!

Helllo!

Have one problem - when some click on forms in quick links - it show one picture from attachement .. and this picture is from slideshow which should be visible for guests only!
send pm to you - and hope that you have some solution or fix

AWESOME MOD great work.

FOUR requests which I added to software but I know it would help others.

#1 Add a hook after the insert into database:

#2 When posting new thread or post option is selected by default it should send forumid value in the forum html. This is because a lot of mods use forumid value in hooks BEFORE your mod initiates. global_start, global_complete, parse_templates etc and so on.

ALTHOUGH you can just put this in the FORM START hook you have but many people might not know this and wondering why some mods are not working on the thread/post the forms are being posted too.

#3 Create a new table to handle who has voted on a form so a LOT more things can be done and compliant with database standards. This can open a lot more possibilities for people.

#4 Add appstatus system it is real easy I added an appstatus column in user table which:
0=no app
1=submitted
2=denied
3=reapply (didnt fill out completely or missed something or need more info from user)
You can have messages or whatever you want per status level. I have a message announcement telling them status on forum index. But that is for my case you can make this fully customizable can PM user status or whatever. Again up to the imagination. This option can also just be included in the form table that i mentioned in 3 which is BEST way to do it. In my case I have a single app and can apply once for this certain reg application system thing. But to make it fully workable to mod you should put this into the table I mentioned above real easy to implement this all.


But man this mod has made life a lot easier. I have even made a social group application system with it along with staff application system along with free account application system when sites are closed to registration.

Again great mod working perfect

1. I have added a field for an address. But when the address is entered and displayed on the forum, it shows as "ADDRESS:the first line of address
Then the second line of address here.

I would like that to be ADDRESS:
1st line of address here
and the rest in line like this
and this
etc.

2. How would I be able to Add a field where the "User" can enter a picture? by just adding their url to the pic Please?
(similar to vB with the function of this feature on the top of the reply text area... https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/)

The above two would be the icing on the cake of a fab product.

Add in Form Hook: Before submit:

1. \r\n are already there Mate. (If I add another one to it, it will be the same space on all answers - whereas I would just like it for the Address field).

2. What exactly do I need to do Please? What do I enter in there etc? As you can tell, my experienced is very limited. :(

no ...it is not fixed ... i disabled slideshow (which takes pictures from one thread) and now forms works and there is no picture on formslist.

i disable plugin for slideshow ...

I just want to say great mod btw and thank you! I just have a small issue and I'm sure this has already been answer but I can't seem to find an answer in the thread.

I'm using the Email Form only because I want to go to our support group. The form and data comes through fine but the format is just one big block of text.

Example (current format):

First - very cool mod. It will make a difference on our forums. Thank you for the work.

Second - VERY COOL MOD!

Third - I am a newb - question: trying to use custom output from a radio button question with three options. When I format as follows:

The output is:
