Are you trying to lag the shit out of your box? 1 second? At that rate, install a seperate flaschat or chat room. I'd leave that forum if I was a member having it refresh that much.

Did you view in IE? Are you sure this is not a funky half load of the page? I've not heard of this being an error at all. Betting it's not MGC at all.

Actually, I tried viewing it in IE, Firefox and Safari on my PC as well as on my Mac. It is all the same. It is the weirdest thing. In my forum, my logos and icons do not show. Instead, I get the ALT tags showing up. That does not bother me so much as now my ACP does not seem to function. The menu shows up (barely), but I cannot select options within the menu if that option is selectable from a form "submit" button.

All I want to know is how to fully remove this mod if the uninstall options are not available. Is there a single URL, maybe a DB command that undoes the whole thing?

1. Read the docs. It says how to. Simply uninstall, then remove the files.
2. I'll bet it's not this hack as much as I'd love to say it is.
3. Do you have others that can make template mods?
4. Did you try doing a restore of the forum?
5. Do any other plugin/hacks/style changes lately? It's not this plugin.

The docs say to remove the files (I can do this), but it also says to uninstall via the "product" menu. I cannot do this because the "Go" button next to the "uninstall" command does not work.

I have nothing installed. You saw the screen cap of my "products" page. This is the only thing installed.

Hum very weird. I don't see how the chatbox would have made the cp style that weird !

I don't do anything with cpstyle so that's indeed pretty strange. You have just installed a clean chatbox on a clean vBulletin ?

I did nor think you did either, yet that is when it happened.

Does anybody know how to revert the forums to the factory default (totally clean) without losing my forums, posts and users?

Is there a way to remove the general chat channel for certain usergroups? Or remove it all together and use my own custom channels?

Hello,

I've read all posts here and it is appreciated that the developer provides such detailed and long support to this hack. :)

However, I have activated two channels (staff and team) with two different icons but I can not make to show in the shoutbox. I checked and overchecked all options and all seem to be OK but still no go.
Do I have to add anything to templates, please?

You all say that it is not the mod that caused my problem, yet that is when it happened. I do not want to debate the issue. The problem still stands. I cannot uninstall this mod through the ACP as the buttons do not work.

How do I remove the changes that were made in my database via mySQL commands? Since there is no url command line uninstall, the DB may be my only other option.

Ideas?

Open the product xml file, you will have the sql queries to run upon chatbox uninstall.

Is it possible that my styles folder is somewhere else? I am using the default style for now to test out mods before I attempt them on a custom skin.

I do not have /images/styles..so I copied the folder 'images/misc/mgc_cb_evo to a folder I created in my images folder.

After I install per instrucions, I still do not get the chat to show up on my forums. I even tried the instructions for installing if you have a skin that isn't compatible, but this shouldn't be the case since it is the custom skin. BTW I have vb3.7 and I downloaded the chatbox 4.0.

Any help would be great.

Okay I just set the usergroup permissions and still didn't work. I think I will try and reinstall it later tonight. I'll let you know how it went :D

But about the images/styles folder...are we meant to create that folder, or should the styles folder already be in the images folder?

No no the content of the image directory shall be in your images directory if you have only the default style.

I have a little problem with the Commands Options.

I can import a command and this will be uploaded successfully:

Oh, look at the first screenshot... there you can see the path of the file i have imported:
EN\Ban\xml\mgc_cb_evo_cmd_ban.xml

So this was the english file...

Any idea?

I've installed it, awesome chat box! But, is there any way the box can be refreshed then a user has typed something new? This way, you can prevent tons of new messages in xx seconds. And I'll try the import.

EDIT:
He's right, I've installed the ban plugin for the chat box, but I don't see any commands through the command option menu .. It's empty. I am also using vb 3.7
