To pay via PayPal, the customer has to click once to submit and a second time to confirm.

People who don't use PayPal a lot often forget that second click. In that case, you won't get a notification because the transaction was never completed.

Gday DjBaxter, thanks for the quick reply.

I should have been a little clearer, the funds are in my account, but neither of us recievied an email from PayPal saying this. Just wondering if you could shed some light on this. It's probably a PayPal thing though.

Also, is there a way to get the names of the donaters placed on the donate page please?

Those emails are not something that this mod has any influence over.
Those email options are set by an individuals own PayPal preferences, so both of you not getting them woud be a PayPal issue.

Thats where the new template hook is.
If you want it in the top place you will need to manually edit the template.

Ok. Think I will use the navbar link option instead then. The button look out of place there.


What is that hook called? Can you also tell me what to look for in the XML file so I can see how to do this because I think I want to use that for my simple global announcement hack as that position is exactly where I want it.

why cant i see the images?!! ive selected which to use in the admincp section but it doesnt show any, just text..like where the paypal verify image should be i get

Are you using a custom skin? If so, you need to put the images in the images/misc folder for that particular skin.
