Just tried installing in vb 3.6.8 and get an error message when it tries to load the forum

This is the error I get

Warning: require_once(/export/home/webs/cabinetmakers/public_html/forums/chat/inc/config.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /global.php(360) : eval()'d code on line 7

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/export/home/webs/cabinetmakers/public_html/forums/chat/inc/config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /export/home/webs/cabinetmakers/public_html/forums/global.php(360) : eval()'d code on line 7

Either you dont have flashchat installed or its not in the standard location, so you need to set the option to tell the mod where to find it.

Hi Paul,

First .. thanks for the prompt response .. you'll have to bear with me I'm a newbie at all of this.

I have the latest version of flashchat installed ver 4.8.3 and I'm using VB 3.6.8

I did install your mod for incorporating FC into VB and that is working great.

How and where do I find how to set the option telling VB where your mod is ??? Is this during the import of the mode or somewhere in the mod itself ??

I don't see this option in VCP ... maybe because the install crashes the site ... as above

Having same problem where do I change the location so this will show. I have it in forum/vb/chatroom

That message is not an installation error, to get that it must have installed itself.

Please read post #324, it tells you where the options are located - "Location of FlashChat Folder" is the one you want.

Why would this not show how many users are in the room next to "Members currently in the Chat Room:"?

Probably because you have customised the phrase at some point so its missing the parameter.

What phrase is it looking for and where? Will I be able to fix it easily?

Do I just add the $Phrase into the Display_Chatters template in the right place?
