Unfortunatelly no. In few months, you will have cPublisher out... ;)

cPublisher? Does it tie in any way with vB? How far to completion?
Sounds interesting.

Well, the gods know I am not really qualified to help anyone here, but I'll try.

Poison Fly - I don't really know what you are asking. I made a post in my 'site news' forum and it shows up, with the icon, subject and body of the post on the index.php in my main/root directory. All I did was set options to 'yes' and save them in vbulletin options.

Mirri - Go to vbulletin Options, front page and make a change, then save. Verify your articles forum ID matches the one you have set in vbulletin options and then run the vbhlinstall.php and reindex your articles.

dvd4arab - I suspect if you want a style like vbportal or vbhome, you'll have to make changes to templates or php files.

GXON - go to vbulletin options and front page, make a change and then save your changes. That fixed the problem for me.

Future - It is forum/admin -- that is apparently reversed. upload the index.php, global.php and backend.php into your main/root directory, not under the forum directory. You can actually install those 3 files under a subdirectory though, but just not in a directory where you already have an index.php or it won't work right.

Well, don't hold me on it, I tried. Hopefully it helped.

THANKS FOR YOUR POST REGARDING GXON'S PROBLEM FOR: THE DATABASE ERROR.

ive just installed this and installed perfect first time but one minor setback it dont use the boards colors it defaults to purple.so where do i alter this

Also im not sure of this but are Latest Forum Discussions suppose to go down the far right column instead of under the Visit our sponsor Link as they dont look right there.

Teck nice hack by the way as well.

lasto,
I can't see my forums or threads. I don't see my board colors or styles either

How did you set up the replacement variable? The instructions are conflicting. it said to set it at the full website url but has forums/images in the field.

i just set it up liek this

my board is in a folder called vb2

so my replacement was

vb2/images

Hi TECK, excellent, excellent, hack. We're incorporating this hack into our board, and everything is running smoothly. I did have a quesstion in regards to modifying the home page:

We currently have vBhome pulling news from a "new & announcements" forum (#27). Everything is fine, and the articles show up fine.

However, is it possible to have vBhome Lite display the full articles from our news forum (as it is currently), but then have some way of pulling ONLY the thread titles from a *different* fourm area on my site? (See, we want to have something like, "Latest DVD Reviews..." and then show the last 10 or so DVD reviews on our site, pulling from our DVD Reviews forum, #2.)

BUT, we don't want the full review posted on the main page. (We DO want the full post of the news/info to be posted on the main page.) so we can't just turn off the article display.

It would be like:

Article display: ONLY forum #27
Recent articles: ONLY forum #27
Recent reviews: only forum #2

Is this possible?
If so, any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
