Bug found. You are unable to use " in a private message to someone through the chat box. When you do so, the message won't send.

I added this to my file as required "var SECURITYTOKEN = "0";"
and I still get the missing security token message... I am running vb 3.7.4 patch level 1 and have also tried "var SECURITYTOKEN = 0;" which someone else suggested. We also only use one skin. This is a fresh install of the chatbox as I uninstalled the old version. I would really like to get this working soon. |

How did you experienced that ? By entering the whole command syntax or in a different way ? Quote:

Thanks for the feed back, However I only put the "var SECURITYTOKEN="0"" in because we got the message that the security token was missing...
I have taken it out again, per your message and we still get the exact same message that we are missing the security token. Anything else I can try? |

I uninstalled and removed every mgc file I could find and then did a complete reinstall ensuring that every file in the files folder was coppied tothe forumns directory. I moved all of the images to the standard images folder as well as my greenskin images folder.
I still get the missing security token message when I try to post in the chat box... Any other ideas? |
