How would i put a leader board underneath the pictures but still in the same table as the gallery? |

*/me clicks install again* Thanks, dreck |
it's a great Hack and i would like to install it on my new Board as well :)
So i would be very glad if you port it to 3.60! |
If i get the time, i'll post an update for 3.60 tomorrow evening.
|
There is no way I can get it to work:confused:
I either get it to act like a normal forum, or it just gives a blank page and nothing happens. I have been struggling for weeks now. This is on 3.5.4 Any good ideas? |
try uninstalling the product then re-installing.
|
I already completely uninstalled and reinstalled it.
Also tried to change my settings: I want a gallery-category, split up into gallery subcategories with photo's. I tried to leave the subcategories out and put the gallery directly under the main gallery category. Made no difference. DB changes are there, main category number is parsed correctly. |
Well the gallery-categorys don't work so the forums you want to be gallery put the forum option act as gallery.
|
OK, I set everything to gallery, also the categories. (But set to "act as a forum = No)
This way I get them displayed, but the galleries still work as normal forum. |

I'm waiting on the update for 3.6.0 also, hope it won't be much longer...great work on this and thanks for your time on it.
|
Im really hoping to see a 3.6 update. Keep up the good work!
|
I've been having so many problems with this plugin, but have sorted most of them.
The only problem i'm having at the moment is that the thumbnails aren't displaying in the gallery. It looks normal, no red Xs or anything... just as though the thumbnails don't exist. I've made sure thumbnails are enabled for each image type, and that they are enabled in the vb options. I really am stumped. >< |
Try doing update counters I would sudggest.

Its weird because the thumbnails display on the forum home page when I have them enabled... just not in the gallery itself. >< |
any idea when this will be ported to 3.6?

Hey guys,
Just had a few questions about this great looking mod.First and most important is does this have a mass import option?I have been looking for a gallery that has this and i dont really like Photopost. In case anyone didnt uderstand my question i want to know if i can upload all images to a folder via FTP then mass import them into a catagory on the gallery. |
Many thanks for such a gr8 release.. I have been trialling this and it really makes my site very very professional.
Now, as one would, I have got two questions.... 1. I had the older version of this, and can see that the new one is available. To upgrade, is it just a simple update, i.e. Plugin System ==> Add/Import Product ==> {Point to the .xml file} and allow overwrite? Will I have to modify the $navbar, $header etc templates as mentioned in the installation guide. 2. I am trying to modify the "upload.gif" image to another one that i have used and calling it "upload_new.gif". I am making this change in the "gallery_display" template in the following place.. PHP Code:
Thanks in advance for any replies. |
Is anyone able to help me with the thumbnail not displaying problem I'm having?
Having the thumbnails on the forum home page, and not in the gallery is driving me nuts! I don't want to have to go for something like photopost, but I'm gonna end up having no choice. :( |
I've just installed this inot vb354 and mySQL server hangs up almost instantly. after exploratin i've found this code
Code:
$thumbs = $db->query_read("SELECT gallery, threadid, firstpostid, ". TABLE_PREFIX . "thread.title, attachmentid, ". TABLE_PREFIX . "attachment.dateline FROM ". TABLE_PREFIX . "attachment, ". TABLE_PREFIX . "thread, ". TABLE_PREFIX . "forum Thanx for answer. |
And anothe issue: gallery_index template is missing!!!
|
Hmm still no answer, can someone who uses his mod please let me know if it has the option to mass import a folder of images from FTP to a gallery catagory?

the one in 3.6 is not a full gallery I dont think....I think that one is just for adding images to Forum_home when using photopost for vbulletin can be found by clicking here |

Does anyone know if Harald_T is around? I tried sending him a mail, but I've had no reply. :(
Can anyone help at all and let me know why the thumbnails aren't displaying?? Here's the code for my gallery_threadbit template... I've tried fiddling with the code to get the thumbs to display, but no joy. Code:
$ids[forumids] |

Code:
<a HREF="attachment.php?attachmentid=$thread[attachmentid]"> And I do have .png thumbnails on, and have all the attachments set to generate thumbnails (for image files anyway). *edit* I've just tried uploading an image to a different section of my forum, and the thumbnail displays there without a problem... |

Hence why I'm so stumped. |

So my question to anyone who can help is, is it not possible to use hotlinked pictures on the gallery, only ones which are attachments? Also, I have another question... so far within the thread, only the first post/image appears in the gallery format, any further posts with images show up in the normal vbb way. Is that the only way it works, or is it possible to create a thread which shows an image in each post in the gallery format? |

A similar question was asked, about the ability to mass import images and have them show up in the Gallery forum, however this too is not available in this release of vGallery.. not sure what the future holds, only Harold shall be able to answer.. But ofcourse, guess with vb 3.6.0 around, he might be set about developing a release for that... i hope.. :classic: |
ok
thanks if anyone knows the answer to my question about hotlinking, I'd be grateful.. |
Oh just to clarify guys & girls - I'm only attaching one image at a time in the gallery... and the thumbnails still aren't showing up. :(
|
Does this work for vB 3.6?
|
I would also like to know if it work on vb 3.6?
