Replies to threads appear in the top notifications area, but the PM notifications are not working. I only get a pop up box in the bottom right corner for a second that disappears. Friend requests do not work as pictured in your screenshots as well. Is there something I am missing?

Sounds like you may have a conflicting plugin. Try on a local test server please before installing on live.

edit: none of the notifications seem to be working now, the loading icon just hangs. (Previous lite version had working live thread reply notifications.)

Updated* Replace the files.

Is it the same file? I replaced but nothing changed.

There was an issue with: /vbsocial/js/ln_livenotifications.js

Make sure that one is the newest.

That fixed the original issue of not having the notifications at all. Now I have private message notifications but the links are incorrect.
For example, in the dropdown notification my most recent PM shows a url with pmid=4, clicking on it leads to an "Invalid PM link specified" vB error page. Going to my PM inbox reveals the same message with with pmid=773098
Just sent two more new messages and the notification menu incorrectly shows them with pmids of 5 and 6.

And my admincp options page still shows all the same errors.

I'm thinking about buying your pro version mod.

I have some questions before :
- Does the "like" replace the reputation system. If yes, is there still a place where the total amount of likes/reputation is displayed. What about the negative reputation ?
- What about the level/rank of reputation (green and red dots) that is used and displayed in each post in vbulletin vanilla
- Does @mention work in your vanilla mod or do we need to install another mod for this ?
- Will I be able to change the CSS so that the "like" system displays in another way (I just want the number of +1 or -1 for each post).

Does anyone have the lite version working on their forums?
I've tried previous versions, and every time there are so many odd bugs that I end up having to uninstall it.

I would like to try again, but I want to know if others have it actually working.

The lite version right before this current 9.5 was working without many issues for me. However, it didn't have PM notification or messaging. (I believe it was removed as a feature)
The current 9.5 version brought back PM notifications and messaging, but the links for each message is wrong. Also, basic features from previous Lite version were removed.

Do you remember what basic features were removed?

Ajax refresh interval cannot be changed. Avatar upload from dropdown menu cannot be enabled.

oh that's what I remember about the version I tried, the end user sees the disabled options and there is no way to remove them.

Is that still the case?

In each version of the lite plugin I have tried out, something different will either work or not work as intended. The Lite version on here prior to the current 9.5 was the closest thing to fully functioning. Only the PM notifications were not working.

Basically the lite version is to get you to have a feel for how the pro version works. A lot of work was put into the main plugin, and thus we can't have a lite version having all the pro features. Hope that makes sense, but the plugin wouldn't be where its at now without the support of our vips.

You can try the full version out, or get try the lite version by installing the one provided here. :)

Not sure what you mean? Search is built directly into the header bar that is powered by vBulletin Search

Yes this works with practically every theme. Also you can change the looks using stylevars *(part of vBulletin.org)

I just installed this mod. The installation took a few minutes (maybe it is normal), altered the styles and ended. But I'm getting many errors in admincp and nothing works properly

Still, I've had to re-code all the .php files backend. The plugin system you implemented for us to put data in just doens't work, so I've had to hard code all my plugins one by one.

In the next release, please build off 9 and allow it to attain plugins automatically like the DBTech one.

Sorry but we have no plans to build our plugin to attain to DBTECH. lol
