I'd like to add quite a lot of items but it makes for a very long and chaotic list.

I have a little problem in the market though, that is many Item's you mention not included when I installed it, so can I get some help with that?

What format is the currency converter supposed to be setup in, I filled out all the fields like I thought it should be but it just keeps saying please complete all the required fields.

Great mod. Currently using with Vbexperience as a pay per post type setup. Couple of quick questions

1. Is there a way to restrict certain usergroups from seeing a category in the market for store items? I only want a certain usergroup to be able to buy a couple of store items, but want the rest to be available to everyone?

2. How is an admin/mod notified when a purchase is made?

What does it do then?

What exactly is: Special Access Forum, moderates a forum (the user then can moderate forums)?
Change Forum Description ... What does it mean?
Create a forum .... If the user then simply open up a forum?

I do not as yet what everything is.

i'm still running 2.1 'cause of all the troubles with 3.0.0 and i'm still waiting for the maintenance release of 3.0.1. When will the next version be released? TheMayhem, you wrote on Sept. 27th that you probably will release it "today"... that's now about 3 weeks ago, and as you know is the hole PM-mod in 2.1 a real mess, but 3.0.0 has many bugs as well. So please launch the 3.0.1 asap :/

Yeah, I can't send MP's succesfully because in the destinatary the HTML glow code is appearing and of course it gives me error. It would be a great idea to put older versions for download. And sometime ago I've attached the spanish translation... any way I'm waiting the 3.0.1 release.

How do you delete transactions made - ie an accidental purchase?

One of my members just purchased an item (Store Products) however it has purchased it twice, and left him with NEGATIVE credits (as he didnt have enough credits to buy it twice.

How do I fix this?

Sorry for my absence. I'm back at school now and my landlord decided that Internet wasn't part of the lease so I've been without Internet for the past 3 weeks. Oh to be a college student....

Anyways, todays the first day I got it back. I've been using http://www.vbaddict.net for my bug reporting for those who aren't aware and decided to go ahead and release 3.0.1. It has a bunch of small fixes to some reported bugs. The only bug that is noticeable for everyone I haven't fixed yet is the private message reply bug when a user has purchased a glow or color, I'm still working on that one. If I do figure out a fix I'll prompt a 3.0.2 release just for that. Outside of that the only other bug not fixed that was reported was stealing with vbExperience doesn't work. I still have to verify that one.

3.0.0 was way more stable then I expected and with 3.0.1 released and the lack of bugs, I am going to start on 3.1.0. Generally coding these things takes me a few weeks to do so my goal is to have something out by Thanksgiving break. I gotta get caught up on all the missed posts and feature suggestions and hopefully I'll have something out for you guys.

Hopefully all my supporters didn't disapear while I was gone. PS I turned 23 during my absence :) Growing old sucks :(!

Yes that bug is fixed I believe

I could add a counter time between transactions that would help disable this.

So since finally getting my Internet back, I've spent the past 24 hours working on the Point Market 3.1.0. So far this is what I got:

Some Bugs
- Several XHTML fixes on the Market Display
- Stealing Bugs fixed related to vBExperience
- Double Posting of purchases now extremely limited

New Features
- Ability to control whether an item can be refunded for some market forum items
- Time span between market forum item purchases (Controllable by Admins)
- Usergroup control over Purchase History AND Market Converter
- Navbar links now will not show if users don't have access by usergroup
- Ability to create Forum Market Item Categories AND Subcategories
- Ability to use existing Market Items as a template to create new market items
- Ability to delete forum market item categories and items

This is what I was able to accomplish in about 24 hours. I've attached a little screenshot so you guys can see what I mean. Some of the new icons you need to put your mouse over for additional info such as the pricing icon which will display the exact amount a market item costs before any kind of deductions (usergroup discount, coupons, etc.)

Also, this I haven't scripted it yet but this will be the release where I finally add user's ability to change avatars and smileys. More to come but as always I'm open to suggestions :)

First of all TheMayhem, thank you for this great hack.. I have this kind of problem..

I had deposıt some points to bank but when I need to withdraw, Withdrawal Fee was %100..So whatever the amount try to withdraw, ıt cuts all of that amount..I did find the minium wıthdraw amount but there is no Withdrawal Percent Fee in usergroup permissions..İt is somehow set to %100..

İs it bug or is there a way to change it?

Looks like you found a bug that I have no clue on how it went unnoticed. Anyways, this is only a minor bug and you can easily get around it.

Go to your Usergroup Permissions, below the Minimum Withdrawel you will see something called, Undo Purchase Penalty. That field of course has nothing to do with banking and is only there because I got my phrases mixed up. Simply enter the minimum withdrawl percent fee to whatever you would like it to be in that field right there and it should work correctly with the banking. I'll get this text updated on the next release.

any news 'bout the 'PM-reply-Bug'? You classified this bug in your tracker as 'priority 3', but i cannot find anything about a fix of it. It looks like you prefer to work on the 3.1.0 release instead of fixing the major bugs O.o

Check that you have the permissions: permissions settings and staff

then appear if you put your nik there and you see all the permissions

Right now the easiest way to do would be to edit the market_itembuy template and remove all instances of the colors you don't want. I believe there is four sections in there you'd have to edit.

HOWEVER, with upgrades and all I don't recommend doing that. I tell you what though this has been something requested since version 1.0.0 so I will try and add an option in the Point Market settings for you to add/subtract colors.

I've honestly done three seperate sitdowns and tried to come up with a way to make the colors work on the user's postbit in the private message without having that bug. I've asked for outside help related to that bug and am awaiting for a response to whether or not there is a way I can keep how I have it without the bug. Otherwise, I'm going to be forced to disable username markup from the market in the postbit of private messages. I'll update this thread as well as the bug tracker once I come up with something since that bug is a priority to me, unfortunately I am stumped on how to fix.

Yes, it was completely screwed up in 3.0.1 so I'll be working on it once I finish this category/item addition stuff. I got a new paycheck concept as well to do :)
