you can also use the manage usergroup awards link in the vbcredits acp menu to set many usergroup's vbcredits settings at once

i did uploaded all files overwritten also i made all template changes and plugin, product is active but it has a BUG .

someone talking about it on vbcredits.com too. We didnt see anything then i re upload v1.3 , and system crashed. I did re-dumped my backup database and problem fixed .

Need wait 1.4 full or NOT !

And I'm particularly cautious when I make template edits. Each and every problem I encountered was because I overlooked something very small. It's a great mod, but very sensitive to proper setup. It's, unfortunately, the nature of a good points system. It needs to be precise and particular to function properly.

and if youre wondering "Why, Darkwaltz4, must I do template edits? Some hacks just edit existing variables or use vBulletin's template hooks system! Why arent you cool like that??"

well, I outlined it on this post to erase all doubt :-p and ever since ditching template hook support, stuff shows up for people 100% of the time (except when settings are not followed or *sigh* when people just didnt do them)

so...kind of a necessary evil that works the best across the wide variety of situations. may suck a bit in the beginning, but will be reliable and consistent from then on. otherwise use TMS (which suffers from the same limitations, but is more flexible than the template hooks, so I still support it)

do you have a negation multiplier set? default is -1.5, look in award settings

1.4 has an upload attachment credit. for each attachment. thats it though. download related i think ill be infusing with my paid hack vBLimiter

I keep getting an error after installing this mod:

CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.

So I have to disable it.
I enabled it again just now to catch what that error was exactly and it WORKED! But then it flashed off to that CGU error again with out me refreshing the page at all.

Please help :(

and what page was this happening on? 1.3 had issues with servers not liking how forum overrides were applied

I have CMPS installed so it happens on that page which is my index.asp, the forum main page which I renamed to forindx.asp and other pages suck as threads, iSpy, pretty much anything that shows a thread.

oh I downloaded it directly from http://www.vbcredits.com/ this morning. So that would be the most recent version. vBulletin is about two weeks old on my site, so the most recent there also. :)

I'm running most active members contest based on credits. Several members reported that their credits go down and they never deleted the post or thread.

How to check the transactions?

if you are using 1.4rc1 be advised there is an inactivity penalty if you have a negation multiplier and an activity award set. a toggle for this will be built for the next version (1.5)

Hello all.

One of my members has alerted me that this system can be abused. I recently installed a Casino hack which I am sure some of you are aware about and it has lead to some investigating ways on how to cheat the system.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before but I been given a very easy step by step guide on how to do it in a post.

probably not going to happen at this point... sorry. reason being is i happened to have had a competing product in the works before i even thought of making vbcredits

I went to vbcredits and upgraded to RC1.

I have the mod for ibProArcade v2.6.2+ installed and earlier have done the edits for that.
Now I just get a message "Sorry, but you do not have enough Crackers to play." ..

I have points enough and all ....

What can be wrong?

I used to have 1.3 on my board, then removed it, Uninstalled the product and undid the template changes. Then installed the 1.4RC1, everything works just fine except for the "Mass Credit Updater". Once I try it, it keeps going for ever and the screen refreshes itself once in a second and the process never stops.

Any input is appreciated

you know, i only ever saw that happen once before... was the mass credit updater working in your previous installation?

you should probably send me an admin login :D so i can see if I can find whats behind this rare occurance.

To be honest with you, I didnt use it on the old version, right now, I have uninstalled the vbCredits, should I go ahead and install it and send you the admin login?

Unfortually my users are getting a bit ruthless about not having anything to spend their credits on exept Lottery tickets ^_^ so i may just instal Ishop :(

the biggest thing from vbPLAZA was the gifts and have them show in the postbit.

add that feature alone... and I think this can really take off as well as be a good revenue stream (pay for gifts).

either way...once you can actually buy gifts I'm in. :)
